Much better quality than I was expecting - with very easy (and rock solid) installation!
While I haven't yet tested this Magpul bipod at the range, I already know that it will perform as intended (and satisfactorily for my needs/wants) based on my in-home testing. It is more or less equal to the Harris 1A2-LM bipod I also own - no better and no worse - because both bipod brands have minor drawbacks. I was surprised by the quality and stability of the Magpul bipod based on several reviews I read that were not very flattering. You can install it on (or remove it from) any rifle or shotgun with a front sling stud in less than 30 seconds with just one hand (easier & faster than the Harris) - and you can move it from gun to gun as necessary (also easier & faster than the Harris). The attachment to the stock is rock solid after installation (better than the Harris, which is a little loose after install) and you can re-attach your sling to the extra sling stud built into the rear of the bipod (easier & better than the Harris bipod.) I thought the polymer legs would be wobbly but they actually seem to be pretty sturdy. The warts: I don't like the button you have to push to unlock (and then manually extend) the legs on the Magpul (the legs on the Harris are spring-loaded and extend instantly & fully with the push of a button) - and they don't extend as far as the Harris legs either. They also adjust harder than the Harris legs. The Magpul definitely wins on the weight comparison and the cost front (slightly less expensive than the Harris), and it is only slightly behind the Harris in most other respects. If you're unsure which one might work best for you, I suggest you buy both...and send back the one you don't like.

Very Stable and Ease of use
Excellent product, super easy to install and very sturdy at lower and higher adjustment. Very simple to use the push button to release the legs. The leg release is little tighter and doesn’t fall down as quickly as on other models I have owned. Overall rate 5 for function, value for the money. Also leaves you with the ability to have a sling * looks great on my air toy pinker

Light, but effective
This polymer bipod will attach easily and safely to your rifle's sling stud; it has some flex, some wiggle, etc., but is generally more stable and versatile than dragging around shooting bags. I really like the large receptacle for the fore end; there's no padding there, but its a nice flat surface that doesn't scratch or otherwise mar the finish of your stock. It feels a little cheap, but it does what it says it does. I mounted it on several of my rifles, and achieved a nice snug and safe fit with each rifle I put it on. Additionally, the polymer construction means this is much lighter than a comparable Harris-style metal bipod. This is awesome if you plan on hunting with the bipod attached, or shooting with the bipod undeployed. It doesn't mess with the balance of the rifle as much as typical metal bipods. It won't necessarily impress anybody at the range, but it'll make your shots straighter. Recommended.

Perfect for what I need.
Placed this on my Remington 700 ADL Varmit 308 and went on within 3 min. Holds tight and secure, with no wobble. There are two buttons for release to drop the arms abut 2-3 more inches if needed and the ABS Plastic is durable for the “field” needs. It’s a MAGPUL- what do you expect? Sits flush and balanced to the front end of the stock, and can be set either way where the legs kick up to the end of the barrel or down to the trigger and bolt assembly with no problems. Both arrangements are a tight fit. I set mine for now up so when I’m carrying, the ends of the bipods are not digging into my shoulder blade when it’s slinged behind my back when walking. Came packed well, on time and about $5.00 cheaper than on other websites. Overall, quite happy with the purchase, and is the finishing touch and ending piece to my Remington.

Good basic bipod
Would be better if it had swivel capability, but that is available in slightly more expensive Magpul model. I find this holds my rifle well for use at range, and it’s solid enough for use on my .308 precision rifle where I can reach out to 600 yards at our club. Probably not the best choice for field use because of the fixed head, but very nice and effective for range work. Easy to attach and holds solidly to swivel stud. Good value overall.

Great value highly recommend.
Excellent addition to my Weatherby 307 - fits seamlessly and provides a stable base to fire from. Sturdy, Easy to Mount, Great Value and Easy to Retract.

For the money this is a good and very functional product.
I'm giving five stars because when it really comes down to it this is a darn decent bipod for the money. You can get significantly higher quality ones for much higher prices but this is decent quality for the match sharpshooter, or hotrod 22 or AR plinking hobbyist. Don't expect to take this when SHTF because this is not a rugged durability item. Bash or catch this against something while running and it's going to break.

Sturdy and light
I’ve been switching to these magpul bipods they are a great looking minimalist design and I like how the legs lock. They are very easy to deploy and stay open or closed when you need them to. They don’t have a tilt capability or much other adjustment other than length which fine since I only really shoot off a bench. There is no wobble and overall the build quality is good especially with how light these are. Great bang for your buck.
