I purchased this selfie stick/tripod based on a recommendation from someone on Instagram. I had asked for something lightweight yet sturdy, easy to use and small enough to fit into a carryon bag, so I could take it with me on a handful of trips. It checked all the boxes. I have only used it as a tripod at this point (and not as a selfie stick) but it worked well. I was originally concerned that my Galaxy Flip would be too wide to fit into the camera holder, but it wasn't. I was a bit nervous putting in my phone the first time fearing that it would break. But, it did not. The one challenge that I encountered dealt with how the camera holder swivels (or rather doesn't swivel) to allow me to take photos at certain angles. You can't take flat lay images without seeing the tripod. I'm sure that once I've had more time to play with it and experiment, I'll figure out how to manipulate it to get the shots that I need. Overall, it's a good buy and I'd recommend it as a good and reliable product.

finally found one that can fit my BIG mobile phone, currently using S23 Ultra. the selfie stick looks very durable too
