Fantastic Filtration setup but…
I purchased the All-in-one Tankless version in December 2022. It’s under my sink. It does very well. I bought a water tester and it does exactly as advertised. The water is very clean. Where I live the water is heavily chlorinated. It does fantastic removing it. Now please be aware that the filter for this unit is very expensive. Factor in that you will need to purchase a new one every 9 months. That is the average for me. It’s advertised as lasting a year, but it hasn’t yet. The company says filter life is dependent on how contaminated your water is. However, I have a whole house filtration system and the quality of my water is fine. I just bought this unit to further remove the chlorine as I drink and cook with this water. The filter is their Netflix. It’s basically a subscription every 9 months for them. Please note they never ever discount the filter. Ever. No Black Friday deals or discounts. If you see a coupon, it’s just a discount to regular price. It’s just something to consider. I don’t regret buying it. It does a fantastic job, but I’ll probably replace it to a more affordable long term option one day.

Good value, needs install prep
Updated: I've used this for over a year, and it stopped working properly after about 6 months. After turning on the water, it would go a bit, then I would turn it off, and it would start making pumping noises. This eventually led to the unit stopping altogether. In order to get it to start again I had to unplug and replug it. I contacted APEC support. They told me to reset the unit, so I did. Not only did it NOT fix the problem, now the unit reset the filter, and the red light is blinking instead of the blue one from before. The water itself has also lost PPM quite a bit, from my previous review it was 25-40, now it's 57 - 75, and the water taste is very different. I went back and forth with APEC for a couple weeks, the best they would do is send me a new filter. But that doesn't fix the pumping problem that continues, sometimes for 5 minutes, pumping every 3 seconds in an interval. It's not the "alarm" because the none of the alarm levels act this way. I would ABSOLUTELY pass this unit by. It's affordable, but if something goes wrong like it did in my case, APEC isn't there to help, and you're left with a unit that's completely worthless. OLD REVIEW: I've been using this RO system for about a month now and it's worked pretty well. The water tastes great, and I can now utilize higher quality water for cooking, which I've wanted to do for a long time. Some notes about install. You need power for this system. I wasn't sure I had it, but any regular plug will do, I had to run an extension cable under the sink but I made it work. When installing the unit came with little white insert caps where the hoses (red, blue, etc) go. The instructions didn't say what to do with these or how to remove them, but these caps MUST be removed to put the hoses in. Also you have to drill into the drain pipe for the waste water to drain. They have you seal and screw the hose to the drain pipe, but it's important to know that you will need to drill into the existing plumbing, because you need the drill, and you need to be okay with doing that. If you remove the system, you'll need to seal that hole later Once out together and setup, you'll start the system. It started flashing red once I turned it on. Leave the system running until the system displays a blue light. Afterwards the water is safe to drink. The ppm on my water on the tap is around 270 - 290. Running through the RO system it's between 25 - 40 depending on how long I let the system run ahead of time. Was worth the purchase, and I haven't hesitated to recommend this model to friends.

The BEST tasting water!!!
I had an APEC system in my last house for several years, and we loved it! So naturally we looked to get another. Wasn’t planning on getting a tankless setup, but it has been really nice so far! Install was pretty straight forward, and directions were clear. Researching other tankless brands, I read that clogging can become an issue due to scale. In reading the manual, this unit DOES have an auto flush function to address this. It’s advertised as a “premium four in one filter”, and comparing to bottled water, the PPM and taste backs up this claim. My TDS meter read 20 PPM. The one complaint I have is the noise from the pump. It is noticeable when you are nearby, but otherwise not a big deal. A cheap noise insulation foam pad from Home Depot probably would do the trick. I would apply it to the inside of the cabinet door, but like I said, it doesn’t bother me much. Overall, very satisfied with this product. Just like my last system from APEC, the quality this system produces has me impressed and happy.

Works good, taste could be better but not bad.
First of all. I've notice they are combining reviews from all their models. This review is for the APEC Tankless RO Water Filter System ROTL-AIO. -The water taste is good but not great, in my opinion. Still much better than the water straight from the tap. Our water is VERY hard, so this might be part of the issue. Might install a whole house water softener to fix this. -Its a tankless unit, so it uses a pump that's a bit noisy but not horribly loud. -Installation wasn't hard. However, the included install kit comes with really short water lines. I had to make a trip to the hardware store for longer lines. I got enough to replace the kit lines completely so I didn't have any splices that could leak. Make sure you get the food grade water lines. -This unit needs to be plugged in. The power cord stretches out to about 5 feet so Had no issues, but make sure you account for power when getting this unit. I'm going to get another reverse osmosis unit for my refrigerator, but I will be looking for one that has a bit better taste. Maybe a unit that has a remineralization option and UV light. I'll be keeping this unit for my sink and I believe it will be great for cooking and filling larger jugs for tea and other drink mixes.

RO wWater on demand!
It's an RO filter that works on demand! It does make some noise, but not a massive amount and only while it runs. No leaks, install was a little easier than other systems. Very happy with the space savings and not having to wait for water. After a year I had some problems with the faucet splitting into two streams. Ended up just being some gunk built up next to the end of the faucet. If that happens to anyone try cleaning the end with a toothpick.
