Universal 2 Port Aluminum 750ml Baffled Oil Catch Can Reservoir Tank with Breather Filter and Drain Valve

Like the large size so I don't have to worry about emptying the contents forany months. Anyway the drain valve makes the removal very easy. Build quality is excellent and sturdy metal and o-rings for long term use.

This catch can is good quality, and seals up good and tight. Have been using it for the past 7 months, and it is easy to empty where I have it mounted on my 2014 Kia Sorento 3.3L. I did add some internal steel wool and a perferated can to help direct the airflow down to the bottom of the can and back up, to catch more vapor/oil. Seems to be working great. I only have to empty it about once a month, and that usually produces 1 to 2 ounces of liquid that easily drains out the bottom using the drain valve that comes with the can. Just wish I could find a larger can, maybe 1.25 L, at a reasonable price. That would allow me enough room to modify it a little more and make it more efficient. Comes with most everything you need except 3/8" reinforced rubber hoses to and from PCV valve.

Disclaimer: (only 4 stars because I have not yet installed). I was considering fabricating my own catch can but I figured for a fairly low price I’d give this one a shot. Upon opening the can has a little weight and feels sturdy. I really like the larger can compared to other units of the same price range. Open air vent or closed system with the appropriate materials to close up any unused ports. The design looks to be one of simple efficiency. I’m glad I saved myself the time and got a solid component for a little over $20. Great value at the price point. No hoses included so you will need to purchase your own

ordered this universal 2-port aluminum 750ml baffled oil catch can for my wife’s 2012 Volkswagen Tiguan to help slow down the carbon build-up these engines are known for. Installation was straightforward, and the included breather filter and drain valve make it easy to maintain. So far, it’s performing exactly as expected. After only a short time, I can already see that it’s catching a noticeable amount of blow-by that would have otherwise circulated back into the intake. The baffled design seems to be working well to separate the oil and vapor, and the large 750ml capacity means I won’t need to empty it constantly. The build quality feels solid, and the aluminum body looks durable enough to hold up long term. For the price, this is a worthwhile investment to help protect the engine and extend its life. Highly recommend for anyone dealing with carbon build-up issues.

Has all the hardware you need it’s a nice little unit for what it is supposed to do HOWEVER !!! The brass screen on my unit was wayyyyy wayyyyy to restrictive caused a high crank case situation on my old turbo Mercedes that’s in good nic my car turned to a smoke machine

Well built product that will serve my need to install a catch can to limit oil in the intake from the PCV system. It may be common knowledge, but to be sure, if you need additional fittings the size is 3/8 NPT for the in and out lines as well as the air inlet on the top.

So I wanted to catch cloud of oil smoke, and prevent it from going into the intake supper wet and fouling plugs. I used 2 of these.... one off the oil fill cap and one off the PCV connection... vent both of these oil separators into the intake (I also added heavy steel wool type kitchen scrubbers inside of these) They do fill quickly with oil, so don't forget to drain the tanks! this while it works , is not ideal! but will suffice until I can rebuild this engine!
