I used to have kinks on my neck every now and then from regular pillows, no matter how many I have tried. I do sleep on my back most of the time, but sometimes I turn to the side to relieve pressure on my back. This pillow allows me to do that without putting pressure on the side of my face. I also still get good neck support at the same time. I hope this will last me a long time. My only disappointment is that I'm not able to use my regular pillow cases made of silk because of the odd shape.
