Really rather good!
This is a review of the 51 blend. When I first opened the bottle I gave it a little taste, just to see how hot it actually is as I like spicy food, but not so hot I can't taste any flavours. You certainly know that you've tasted the 51 blend, but it's not unpleasantly hot. It seems to pack in more flavour than your run-of-the-mill supermarket chilli sauces, so that's a good start. You can't go wrong having some chilli sauce in the cupboard as it's great for when you need to give your food a little bit of a boost! One of the first things you notice about this sauce that it's quite runny, so best to use sparingly in sandwiches, wraps and the like, otherwise it's going to get messy. It tasted good with pizza, but as mentioned previously was a little too runny for dipping. Next time I'll try dribbling a little on top before cooking. Where this sauce really shines is when adding to food during cooking. It's so easy to add a dash or two just to give a plain dish a little bit of a kick and you can add to suit your taste. There's a lot of choice in this range of sauces, along with some curious names. I fully intend to give some of the others a go as well in due course.

Tasty and not overly hot
This is a delicious tasting chilli sauce which has now become a staple in our house. Used sparingling it adds a delicious, fruity taste with a bit of a kick. One bottle lasts for ages. I love that the chillis are grown in the UK. Highly recommended.

A premium quality chilli hit, with a ton of ways to incorporate it into your cooking
Weymouth 51's signature 51 Blend chilli sauce is a high-quality, pure, tasty sauce that you can add to a meal, marinade or drizzle straight from the bottle. The magnificent clarity of flavour shines through every mouthful, adding a crackling energy to every meal it touches. Vegan-friendly and coming in good quantity, it's not too fiery, but plenty hot enough to add vigorous interest to cooking or as a condiment. The apple cider vinegar inclusion is absolutely key, adding a deliciously piquant zing that demands attention but doesn't overpower the pepperiness of the chilli core. There is a hint of onion in there too, all rolled into a non-too-cheap, but still decent value sauce that betters the run of the mill shelf fillers boasting the same credentials, without the oomf to back it up. A mealtime winner.

Not too hot; good flavour to add a little heat; a little vinegary
The ingredients on this are mostly simple regular foods, which I always like to find on my bought comestibles, although because this is vegan they have added xanthan gum to it. Everything else is a fairly simple and unprocessed derivative from natural plants, though. Although I like spicy foods I don't go for fiery. This sauce I would class as mild-to-medium. It adds a little heat but nothing too strong. It's possible this may vary from batch to batch, though, as they say these are made in small batches, and chilli heat will of course vary between plants and years. There is a bit of a vinegary kick from this thanks to the apple cider vinegar. I'm not a huge fan of sauces that are too vinegary, but this sits just beneath my threshold. The listing title says it is organic but I didn't see any mention of this on the label, which is odd. Lovely bottle and label, though: very nicely presented and sealed. Currently selling at close to ten quid a bottle, this doesn’t come cheap, but its ingredients are mostly natural, it seems fairly low-processed, and it does add a nice flavour and heat to a plate. At a dash or two per serving it will last quite a while.
