12U Wall-Mount Server Rack Cabinet - Up to 16 in. Deep

I've read many reviews on the packaging and damage during shipping for many of these cabinets. This came fully assembled with no damage at all. The only set up I did was adjusting the back rails all the way back. This is a very high quality rack. I highly recommend the back hinge if you plan on working in the rack regularly. I find that I open it up almost every time I need to do something in the rack. So much easier to work on it with free back access. For my low heat equipment, I like the open vents for free air flow. Steel is thick, welds look good, tolerances are tight, very confident in the build. Installed with 4 lag bolts (5/16x2in) into studs, holds strong. Again, highly recommend the hinged back for anyone that wants or needs to tinker in their rack frequently.

StarTech 18U hinged cabinet just came in today. First and foremost, there was absolutely zero damage from shipping. 👍 Was really worried about this reading other reviews. We have not hung this cabinet yet, but the cabinet already being put together make this cabinet worth every penny.

Awesome Unit. Very well built. Arrived in perfect condition. Already assembled. It was a bit heavy, but my wife and I were able to wall mount it. Didn't come with wall mounting screws, so you will need to buy those. Highly recommend.

I have absolutely zero complaints. The cabinet arrived well packaged, no dents or scratches, and already assembled as advertised. I was able to rack by Omada ecosystem with plenty room left over. It's definitely a two person job to hang it above head level. That proves it's built like s tank.

As others have stated, the packaging/shipping was bad. It arrived packaged rather loose in a large box, a couple of styrofoam pieces on each corner. The side panel was off on the right side and it came dented on the top left of cabinet as well as some paint chipped off where the side panel was rubbing against the cabinet in shipping. The handle of the cardboardbbox was also torn from the weight so I had to help the UPS guy carry it off his truck to my porch..... That aside, its a great/solid cabinet. Roughly 70 lbs empty. It has a nice quality shelf, and the rear swing access panel is well thought out. there is a lot of flexibility with how I can customize it for my needs. I ordered the 12u cabinet and still in process of mounting, grounding, installing equipment, cabling etc but I lifted it up on a shelf to provide a pic to help others gauge the size of the cabinet and also make it easy for me to mount higher up the wall without needing a second set of hands. Although I'm disappointed with it arriving dented, I couldn't reuse the damaged box and its too heavy to bother shipping back for a replacement that is simply cosmetic. Startech if your reading this, please do a better job shipping for future customers. This is my first experience using your product and although the product is quality, the experience wasn't.

I was looking for a 12U wall-mountable rack for my new condo. The AV company that pre-wired the place (of course) wanted to sell me a Mid-Atlantic frame. I decided to go with the StarTech. The first thing I noticed is that it was much bigger than I expected. Well part of the reason is that Amazon sent me the 15U version. But that’s turned out to be a nice bonus. The rack is a beast! Very heavy and well-made. The hardware package is also high-quality. I bought the combo with the PDU. That is also very nice. I added a couple of fans, a patch panel, and I’m good to go. I’ve very happy with it.

This case, grounded by my friend who's an electrician is very comforting when I have it loaded with batteries and charge controllers from a PV array in my westerly facing windows. Without the ground attachment, I would be afraid to touch it. I can't think of a safer way to do Solar Power indoors. Thank you for making this delivery count Amazon. I believe we'll be served more carefully for the foreseeable future.

Best wall mount carbonate I have ever installed. Swing out is great. Perfect access. Downside, it’s expensive. But you get what you pay for. Arrives fully assembled. Great quality.

bonne cage pour protéger le matériel électronic ;) ce qui pose question est le poids , je ne vois pas , même vide, ce rack fixé sua mur sur du placo !

Habe lange nach einem zweiteiligen Wandschrank mit zudem abnehmbaren Seitenwänden gesucht. Dieser Schrank bietet nicht nur das, sondern ist auch nur 45 cm tief (+10cm rückseitige Wandbefestigung), es können auch noch 90 kg zugeladen werden. Für meine Ecke unter einer Kellertreppe ideal. Käfigmuttern und Schrauben waren dabei sowie eine Rolle Krepp zur Organisation der Kabel. Sehr gut: In top ein 25 cm tiefer Fachboden (1 HE), der noch stabiler wirkt als die von digitus und (sehr sinnvoll) parallel zu den Seiten verlaufende Lüftungsschlitze hat, so dass ggf darauf stehende Geräte zB mit Kabelbinder fixiert werden können. Die Streben sind bereits geerdet. Die Anlieferung war perfekt im angegebenen Zeitfenster, der Schrank sehr gut gepolstert und auf Kleinpalette verpackt, das Zubehör innen mit Kabelbinder transportsicher fixiert. Bzgl des Preises interessante Politik: Ich habe ihn hier erst für ca 760 € gesehen, bestellt dann für 850€ (wobei mich die 90€ aber schon geärgert haben). Dann kostete er bei 1050 und plötzlich bei 670€. Da habe ich die erste Bestellung storniert und zum günstigeren Preis gekauft. Alles innerhalb von 3 Tagen.
