I emptied the entire jug into the tank, swirled in around and turned it several times to make sure every surface was thoroughly wetted and then set down. Every 15+/-, minutes I would rotate it so a different or top and bottom got to sit fully covered and after about 60-75 minutes I siphoned it all out back into the jug it came in. Did an excellent job on both surface rust and the more advanced deposits along the bottom. Couldn't be happier. Next step is to seal the inside of the tank.
