Pineapple Habanero

This was my first time trying a shrub and I picked the blueberry lemon flavor. I mixed it with 3 parts le croix seltzer water and 1 part shrub. I thought it was tasty with a little zip to it. Then I added a shot of rum and it was even better. Because I had read some reviews that said this shrub just tastes like ordinary apple cider vinegar, I made a second drink with 3 parts le croix and 1 part regular apple cider vinegar to compare with the shrub drink. Anyone who says the twisted shrub tastes like plain apple cider vinegar is wrong...the cider drink was gross, but the shrub drink was good!

Not my favorite shrub mix, but tasty alternative to alcoholic drinks. These aren't as sweet as some other shrubs I have tried. Mix well with ginger ale or La Croix and a little simple syrup. Probably would be tasty with alcohol as well.

I tried making a drink with their suggested 1oz each shrub, tequila, soda. +cough!+ That will put some hair on your chest! Hahah. I did an extra oz of tequila, a little agave nectar, a little lime juice, and filled the rest of the glass with soda and it became delicious. I taste zero spice from the habanero which is disappointing. Also, don’t waste the nicer booze on this. As long as you aren’t using Jose Cuervo you won’t notice a difference. I used corralejo silver and couldn’t taste it at all. I don’t regret the purchase but I’ll be trying other brands for a more flavorful experience.

This might be my favorite of the Twisted Shrub line, though ALL are amazing. These work with any drink: sparkling water, regular water, or lemonade, as well as alcoholic beverages. I bought these for my bar and now have sent them as gifts to my family members and friends. Everyone loves these shrubs. The company is also great to deal with--adding in a birthday message or fixing a miss-typed address (my mistake!) with a quick response. The ingredients they use are high quality and the customer service is excellent. Highly recommended and will be reordering again and again and again....

I've had my fair share of different shrubs across the country. Was really excited to find I could order on Amazon. But this one tasted like ACV hardly any peach or habanero. But still doesnt beat anything I've tried in Ukiah or Hudson!

Okay, I'll admit, I had the wrong idea. However, even after following the bottle recipe, i just got Apple cider vinegar. I used Makers Mark and real life egg whites and still... Apple cider vinegar. No peach... no habanero for sure... I measured right and I used standard ice in my shaker... still, just ACV. Let me put it this way... if you like Apple cider vinegar, this is your product for diminishing any flavor paired with it to get a true Apple cider vinegar taste.

I personally love spicy tequila drinks so this was calling my name. To be honest I can’t tell the difference In flavor much between the peach and pineapple habenero flavors. I like them both a lot though. I don’t think that the bottle will make 8 drinks, probably closer to 5. I will be purchasing these again for sure! The vinegar taste isn’t too strong and it mixes well with tequilla. I used a spicy tequilla with this mix as well and it wasn’t too spicy.

Love this shrub. I haven't tried it in a cocktail yet, but imagine it will be just as yummy. I add this to sparkling water. Love the flavor and the kick. I've just ordered more. It's a very small bottle for the price, but a little bit goes a long way. Many shrubs have a strong vinegar taste, not this one, and not too sweet either. Just the right balance
