Better than the reviews
This PC isn’t deserving of the negative reviews. Yes the first couple days it crashed frequently but after getting all the updates it has run flawlessly for three weeks now. Not that long yet but appears to be a very stable platform. As far as the loud fans goes, for a gaming computer it’s probably the quietest I’ve ever heard. Those claims otherwise must not have ever had a gaming computer before. Temps stay cool even after playing for hours. Graphics are great, all the graphics test sights I’ve been to say I’m in the top 1%. I’m running my graphics at max settings on three screens and only once in three weeks has it crashed due to graphics. Toned everything down to about 95% of capability of the card and hasn’t been a problem since. This Nvidia 3060 is a worthy video card. If you’re wanting a decent budget gaming PC I don’t see how you can do any better than this one at this price. I can’t even build one for cheaper than these. I’m very pleased. Had planned on beefing it up a little but other than maybe doubling the RAM this PC is good to play anything out there right now.

What a waste of money and time
Update: 12/3/2023: Computer was sent back to ASUS via RMA to get issue blue screen/critical process died loop and random reboots. Computer was returned apparently untouched, noting that they had replaced the graphics card. Computer still is randomly rebooting. Going to contact support in the morning. Bought this in November of 2022 for a great deal (somewhere under $900). Honestly was buying it for the graphics card + a faster chip and more RAM capabilities than my old computer. Got the PC in mid November. Added more RAM, added a SSD, added a case fan (because guess what... there's no MF'n case fan). It worked ok, for awhile. And then the problems started happening (I wish I had been in the Amazon return window at this point). I'd keep getting blue screen errors. I'd google. I'd do what the sites said. Run the varying fixes. Check the logs. Nothing would work. As time went on, the blue screens continued getting worse and worse. Until I just couldn't take it. Last month, I took it to a tech. Tech was mind boggled by the motherboard they used. Poorly made trash. Shocked ASUS even put their name on it. He said it also takes too long to boot up. He said the processor fan didn't have any copper on it for heat dissipation - the PC was running hot. The fan was loud as heck. He thought he fixed it after checking the drivers/etc... Not only did the problems continue, they got into a critical process died circle. Computer could barely stay up 5-10 minutes before crashing - or freezing, as it wouldn't even blue screen. The compute would just freeze. Advised to wipe Windows 11 and do a fresh install. I did. Now I'm having Kernel-Power errors, plus freezing. I still have some time under warranty, so I'm sending it back and seeing what happens with the RMA. Stay far away from this computer build. It's nothing but trouble.

DO NOT PUT ON THE OPTIONAL GLASS PANEL
Although it looks kind of cool to see the lights inside the tower, it just doesn't get enough air with the glass panel. My computer was revving up so loud and hard and it was crashing at least once a day, if not multiple times a day. Now that I've switched it back to the metal panel, it's really quiet and it hasn't crashed at all.

Good system but abfew disappointing things
System for the price, good but everyone is not kidding about the fan noise, I thought they were exaggerating, but nope that fan makes a ton of noise, otherwise the system runs fast, good specs good performance so far and at $850 you can’t beat the price. So spend $20 get a better fan, the keyboard and mouse are very cheap anyone ; but buying a gaming system is going to have a wireless gaming keyboard and mouse anyway so not a big deal.. happy with purchase. Do not bother contacting Asus for a replacement fan you will just get the run around, just go buy a replacement fan. Noctua NF-A9 PWM chromax.Black.swap, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (92mm, Black) Is what we used, like day and night , system now quiet.
