I'll be honest, even after reading the dimensions I thought it would be a larger knife and wasn't sure I had room in my kit for a fixie this small but after a few days it falls into the EDC category even though I've got plenty of folders. Also read a lot of negative reviews about the sheath and how it should have been leather or of higher quality (given the price of the knife) or easier for a one-handed draw blah blah blah. After using it for several days my opinion is it's ridiculously secure, easily accessed one-handed and it looks cool. This is small & compact knife. It’s very sharp. This Swedish-made knife (actually in Seki, Japan) measures 7.12 inches in overall length, with a 3.14-inch drop-point, plain-edge blade of Elmax steel with a satin finish, and a convex grind (think of axe edge). If you have large hands, knife might be a bit small for you. This is a very solid knife, well worth the cost. Before I purchased the Scout, I spent time looking at the F1 & I will in the future will purchase one, just gotta decide what version.
