MINIPRESSO KIT

This will be the 2nd one I bought as a gift, both times they loved it.

I bought this mini espresso maker to see if it was Worth the buy of a bigger machine I also bought to take it with me to work and on road trips. Let me just say the taste is amazing ! I hate that I have to manually pump it to make the espresso . Other than that I love it ! However I’ve recently purchased a bigger machine I’ll probably use this device when I go on road trips! No batter needed just water and espresso! Makes my iced coffee 10x better 🫶

I have had the minipresso gr for about 6 months for our trailer, and I do love the espresso that I get, but I have to spend so much time preparing for a second shot (not enough water) that it was too much work. I searched for a larger water vessel and learned of the "kit" which also includes 3 additional baskets for shots. What it doesn't tell you is that you have more water to make shots, but you have to guess at how much water to use for extraction for the first shot, stop and add an additional basket. and extract again - but again, there are no instructions so I am guessing. In addition, all the videos (and I have watched MANY) don't show, or explicitly state, that you need to use the first basket and extract, then stop and add a second basket, and extract again. To add insult, there is no direct way to contact Wacaco for troubleshooting, or for instruction, and there isn't any email to allow for overseas communication. Finally, in between my purchase of the Minipresso and the kit, they have upgraded to the Nanopresso, with more bars, and I'd like to trade it ALL in (minipresso and kit) for the Nanopresso and the Barista Kit. I guess I will see if anyone reaches out to me to take me up on that offer, but I sure hope so! I do not think it is hard to clean, it is great for traveling, and it makes great espresso! It should have better instructions is my main criticism.

Excellent Wacaco Minipresso Barista Kit, but I opted for the larger Nanopresso and Nanopresso Barista Companion Kit.

Very well executed design for a truly portable espresso maker. This thing is my go-to coffee maker at home and I have also taken it out on road trips. The only leaks I have encountered were caused by user error.

Both the wacaco website and product video says this is compatible with the minipresso gr AND ns. Yes, the water tank and cup are compatible, but the storage pods do not work with the ns model. I was under the impression the pods would, in part, convert the ns in order to use ground coffee. They need to change their product description on their website, as well as fix the claim on their video for this product.

I received this as a gift and I am incredibly impressed. Are used to have an espresso machine but I am now retired and live in travel in an RV. I’ve used or try to other devices such as the aero press but nothing his match this one. Incredibly simple and fast to use. The results is wonderful. Just look at the photo

The tops of the baskets don't secure on, but when you have them stacked and tightened in the vessel, they are tight enough that the tops don't come off. You just have to be careful to put them in and take them out a certain way (keeping them stacked and flipping the vessel over), it's really not a problem. It's really nice to have a larger water tank and more baskets so you don't have to bring coffee and clean it out between each fill.

Recently changed jobs, new job only has low quality instant. Early impressions are that this this is a lifesaver. Works great and keeps me from multiple daily trips to coffee shops.

it leaks from the 1 st time of usage, the quality is not same as the small original tank. not sure if all are same or mine was defected . i returned
