It’s a must for tight areas and when you can’t use a impact.
Keep in mind this is torsional torque and not shock load torque. A stubby 1” will put down more torque. This is very sturdy but was not strong enough to take off 1” fine thread track pad bolts. I recommend a 3200-3600 ft pound for that size bolts. It’s kind of cool because they made the bracket that slides on to it is the right height so a 1 inch deep wall socket will makes it parallel to the work surface. It also comes with a handle so you can add a cheater pipe if you need it.

SO FAR SO GOOD THOUGH.
FIRST ONE I GOT DID NOT WORK. IT WAS LOCKED UP. SECOND ONE ARRIVED WITHIN 3 DAYS AND IT SEEMS OK. BUT I ONLY HAD IT 1 DAY. SO FAR SO GOOD THOUGH. UPDATE - After 1 year this thing still works. 3:1 Ratio. I use it for a 600 ft - lb set of bolts. Each job has 32 bolts and we do it about once a month. it has held up nicely.

Works fine, no instructions.
Had to email OTC tools to get instructions on what formula to use for accurate torque with this. One part says 3.3:1 and stamped on tool says 3:1 plus friction loss, but no details on how to correctly calculate output torque to input torque. This is exactly what they sent me: "It is 3.3 to 1, then minus a 6% friction loss. 730 input max equals 2,409 minus 6% equals 2,264 maximum output."
