Hakkin 11pcs 75mm T5-T40 S2 Steel
The Hakkin Security Torx Screwdriver bits are a great addition to your toolbox. The screwdriver bits are made from S2 Steel and feel of good quality. Each bit measures approximately 75mm in length, with the actual Torx fitting on the end measuring approximately 6.35mm and the length of the shaft from the hexagonal screwdriver fitting to the tip measuring approximately 47mm The set comprises of 11 pieces, ranging from the largest T40 to the smallest T5 and each piece is magnetic and has a hole in the end, which allows you to remove/tighten regular Torx fittings as well as security ones. ***** In The Box ***** 1 x T6 1 x T7 1 x T8 1 x T9 1 x T10 1 x T15 1 x T20 1 x T25 1 x T27 1 x T30 1 x T40 ***** Conclusion ***** I think the Hakkin screwdriver bit set, offers great value for money. The pieces are true to size and fit screws nice and securely, so you remove the risk of damaging screw heads. I really like the 75mm length of the bits and the narrow diameter of the smaller bits. This is particularly useful when removing screws from electronics which are often located in long narrow recesses. The magnetic feature also helps with removing these screws, as it saves you from having to undo the screw and turn the device you are working on over to get to the screw.

Perfect length for opening consoles or devices for repair.
Excellent value, well machined (no bits of kerf left, or shallow grooves in the 'star' ends), also a very good length for getting at deliberately placed awkward screws designed to stop home maintenance of most consoles. A word of warning for those going to open and fix a console or other electronic equipment; They are advertised as magnetic, so this was no surprise, but these were very strong, more so than any of my other screwdrivers, and so require a good deal of de-magenetizing before use. By 'very' I mean they were strong enough to hold the largest of the pieces and lift the others up as a bundle! I bought a demagnetizer specifically for this purpose at the same time I bought these. I hadn't used one before and it took me about 1/2 an hour to demagnetize them enough that they were not able to even pick up a 3/8 inch long steel screw. Someone who knows what they are doing will probably do this quicker.

Complete your driver collection
Excellent pack of tools. I have used already and was very happy with the quality. The angled head Is good in confined spaces. I would have given 5 stars if there had been a box to keep them in. Still I have loads of takeaway boxes that will do the trick.

Fantastic set for awkward jobs around the home.
This is a great set of Torx bits with a narrow shaft which enables you to fix many appliances in the home when regular sized screwdriver shafts just won't fit. For some reason manufacturers seem to like making self repair of our stuff more and more difficult and these tools are a real help in removing covers etc. before carrying out repairs.

Decent quality torx long reach bits.
Don't buy this set for the little ratchet driver - buy it for the bits, they are rather good. DEcent steel and a strong magnetic effect. The little ratchet driver is only up to relatively simple low torque jobs; it's only a couple of quid's worth of handy tool, but pretty good to keep in a drawer somewhere for those simple tasks that need a 1/4 inch bit. The bits themselves are really good - decent length shanks to get into those awkward recessed screws in your vacuum/electric drill/whatever-it-is casing. The smaller ones also have the recessed hole between the teeth of the torx head, so they will work on so-called 'security' torx screws. For the money, this is a very good buy.

Great for recessed torx screws.
Worked out really well with a Bosch electric screwdriver to reach into a hole with a security torx screen in it. Normal “collar” extension would not work.

Good quality but some large jumps in sizing
I'm not a fan of Torx bits generally, in smaller sizes the 'teeth' are so small that its very easy to strip the heads. Unfortunately it seems popular in some countries as a standard so its pretty much essential to ahve a set of Torx bits. This particular set seems well made and they work well. There is no plastic case supplied, only a smaller rubberised holder for the bits to slide into, which may or may not be a problem for you but does make it a little more likely that a bit can come loose or get lost. The only real problem though is that the set has some large jumps, such as from T10 to T15. You can often get a way with using a not-quite-right Philips or flathead screwdriver bit but with Torx - like Allen keys - its right-size or nothing. And having such large gaps between the sizes means that you can be left without the right bit. This happened to me. Its a fault of the standard really - Allen keys are better because they are in mm and use a standard range, the Torx system means you need an almost infinite number of bits to ensure that you have the right size, and this set is just too small to cover off all Torx heads you might encounter. If they made it a 20-piece it would make a substantial improvement for not much extra money

Handle is overlarge for my needs, but they work ok in general.
