I've had a Black+Decker drill for years that I've loved. It's charge lasts for ages. So, I had high hopes for the cordless screwdriver. I haven't been disappointed. It was almost fully charged when it came. It is practically weightless compared to using a small drill. I really like that the light is only on when you want it on and my favorite part is the pivoting handle. I wish I'd bought it sooner.

Excellent for small jobs around the home

I bought this cordless screwdriver to use for cleaning my shower. I had a Hammerhead rechargeable screwdriver for years that I attach a scrub brush to the end of for cleaning the floor and tiles in my shower stall. That little guy finally died, so after a bit of research, I bought this Black + Decker. Now what I'm using this for is totally not the intended use. These screw drivers are very light duty items designed to put in and remove screws. I would imagine that means using it for a few seconds at a time. for me, I'm using it pretty much non-stop for 20+ minutes and don't expect the same product life I would get if I just used it as intended. So life span/durability is unknown at this point, but after at least a half dozen cleanings, I will say that this thing works great. I like the easily adjustable handle, which allows me to find the best angle for the area of the shower I'm working on. The only downside is that the charger is proprietary, so if I lose it, I can't recharge the screw driver without finding a new charger. A micro USB would have been more convenient. But aside from that, I've been very happy with the item and would recommend to others.

This is by far of the best products I’ve ever bought on Amazon. I purchased a storage cabinet and a dresser on Amazon. I noticed that I needed one of this in order to make my assembly project easier and faster. This little guy delivered! It is very powerful with a long lasting battery. It brings a charger and two drill bits. My favorite feature is the LED flash. What a great invention it is a lifesaver. It’s very handy, lightweight and a very reliable tool that everyone should have in their toolbox or car. I’m extremely satisfied with this purchase.
