Small size, large volume, not too expensive
I saw one of these in use by a tour guide at the Cheyenne WY Super Computer site. Since I do tours of a major international auto show here in Washington DC, I hoped it would work to make my voice heard in the noisy convention center hall. It worked great. I learned to turn it down or off in tight spaces like elevators. But quite happy with the performance of it. Other tour guides and sales folks asked about it Great value for the money.

Good sound, questionable durability
I am a tour guide at a distillery in Kentucky. I had surgery on my vocal cord and the doc suggested I use an amplifier for work. After extensive research I decided to order the Voice Booster 20 watt. I was quite pleased with the sound quality and projection. Even near full volume in a very noisy environment, they're was very little distortion. The unit it's fairly light, and while I wish there was a belt clip, the strap was easy to adjust and stayed put around my waist. My only complaint is that after about 2 weeks, the mic developed a short and created a lot of static. I contacted the company and they sent me a new headset in just a couple of days. Unfortunately, the new headset has the same problem, so it might be the amplifier unit itself. I can make it work but it's "touchy". Overall I like the unit, but I'm concerned about its long term durability.

Five Stars all the way.
Hi and Happy Holidays, The VoiceBooster is a superb and excellent product. The CLARITY OF THE AUDIO IS CRYSTAL CLEAR. I am a retiree and also work as a school bus driver. Being that there is no built-in public address system in the bus, the VoiceBooster is a high-quality substitute product. As anybody will tell you, you have to constantly keep raising your voice to make the kids quiet down. Back in late September 2015, I started losing my voice. That's when I had the idea of wanting and buying a portable P.A. system. I thank God so much that such a product like the VoiceBooster exists. This product has REALLY helped save my vocal chords. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give this product a big 10. Again, thank you so very much for solving my problem. This product is a life saver.

Perfect for my needs.
I work as a tour guide in a museum which is often full of school classes and very noisy. This amplifier does the trick. (I have tried other personal amplifiers and been plagued by feedback.) I can turn the volume of this up to maximum and still get no feedback. I have about four hours on the initial batter charge and the indicator light is still bright, so I anticipate good battery life. I highly recommend this product. It works best with the headset microphone which came with it. I have tried it with several tie-clip mics and all produced a lot of feedback. It would be great if the manufacturer could come up with a tie-clip mic which works with this unit. Tie clips are more comfortable and less obtrusive than headsets.

I was disappointed because I can buy one of this quality for ...
I got the product and turned it on. The volume was too low. The amplified voice was very tinny sounding. I sent it back. I was disappointed because I can buy one of this quality for $20.00. Of course it won'y work either. Guess I'll have to spend a little more to get a usable product. We did get the product right away. Sooner then promised. I just wish the product was as good as the service

Very powerful speaker
I do some regular street preaching and I need a powerful speaker to get over the crowds and noise. Voice booster amps are great. This is my 2nd one and they have always worked well. This has a built in battery that is charged via USB. I have had no problems with charging and last's quite a while.

Useful when wearing PPE face shields
It came with a mic, which I wasn't expecting. but it's a bit omni, so feedback central if your use case involves louder than speaking voice from the outside of a mask. I'm wearing a face shield and a facial covering at work during the crisis. And otherwise training new people to run cutting equipment. So this device helps me not feel like I'm yelling all day long just to have people say WHAT? With an ATM75 headset mic, it's speaking volume outside the dome of silence with just the one AA that the ATM75 needs for it's power box. The mic port does provide plugin power for electret mics. The downside is that after about 6 hours the volume output drops a bit and is not significant enough. Unless you use a microphone preamp like the sound devices MM-1 and output at line level. Plus constantly adjust your volume to match the battery level. I work 12 hour shifts, so I either need to turn off my unit to conserve, or swap out for a 2nd one mid-shift. Or use a preamp that weighs more than everything else combined. I tend to lean over the table/machine reaching for things and the reflection off the table to the mic will cause feedback. Even with a highly directional mic like the ATM75 and a relatively low output level from the unit. It comes with a strap to wear it like a necklace. And it's sufficient for the unit, although add other things like battery boxes, mic preamps, and it quickly gets uncomfortable. Even heavy cables pulling on it can be enough weight to make it less than ideal. I kind of wish it came with two straps so one can go around the waist to help it not swing around if you're moving or leaning. But nothing that an old shoelace wont fix.

Great sound, works well, not expensive
As a Christian street evangelist, I’ve used the amp for a solid six years before the battery finally stopped holding a charge. So I just got a new one. I got my money’s worth.

Works well , however I had hoped the unit was a bit more compacted .
