Thick and heavy ... If you want to play djent these are perfect. Be warned though ... that 64 Guage is thick. Most 6 strings are NOT prepped for that. You will likely have to re-cut the nut, and the bridge may be hard to adjust. The intonation may give you nightmare too. 😝 But once you get it set ... these are awesome !!! You want these. That low, well tuned sound is chuggerific. If you play droppeded down to A or even B, you definitely want this thicker Guage. It fixes that loose "thud" sound you get when you try to drop tune this low with regular sized strings.

I really like these particular Dunlop series of strings that tell you what tuning they're for. Straight to the point. You want Drop a? Drop b? Drop c#? Drop D but for les paul scale (trivium set)? They have everything and every time I get these and throw them in the tuning on the box, it just works perfectly and takes the guessing and google searching out of the equation entirely. You want to play in drop b but need the right strings? Click the one that literally says drop b on the box. Boom.

I sold my Ibanez RG7 years ago for reasons, mostly storage, lack of time to play and the fact that it was really annoying trying to avoid the B string to play non-7string songs. A couple weeks ago I got a wild hair and decided to get another guitar, this time another Ibanez but a 6 string. After trying to tune down the strings that were on that guitar and hearing how warbly and weird it sounded, I found these and decided to give them a try. Its a night and day difference and I can even tune as low as f# for the couple of 8 string songs in the catalogue without having to deal with a fat neck and extra strings when I don't need them. Plus the bottom 3 strings are an appropriate gauge comparatively so it just works out great overall. If you want a 7 string sound without having to use a 7 string these are legit.

These strings are always amazing. They give the right amount of playability. Perfect for really heavy sounds. Will def help you sound like Slipknot for sure. They are the best in my opinion and worth every penny. Very durable if cared for and maintained. I highly recommend!

This strings set is incredible! I put them on my PRS S2 McCarty thinking it would be very wobbly on drop B tuning but it's actually very good! It's not as tight as when I put them on my 25.5" scale LTD, but that is also too tight and I would recommend using this set for drop Bb on 25.5" scale guitars. FYI: PRS McCarty guitars have a shorter scale than the usual 24 3/4", which is why they are called 549 (24.549" scale)

Calibrate al centesimo per il drop A, non tentate di farci il G perché perdereste tempo.

Parfait pour un accordage en sib. Ma guitare 6 cordes est accordée très bas pour le métal. Ce tirant est donc parfait pour éviter les frettes qui frisent dû à un tirant trop faible.
