Fabulous adaptor works with my new Dell perfectly
This is an adaptor for a Lenova laptop that is the same wattage as my new computer. I have several DART FINsix adapters. These are brilliant adapters, but the company went out of business very rapidly. I used this adapter to work with the Lenovo tip to convert it to a type C to work with my new Dell. Works great! The only thing that matters is the C-side, otherwise any of the tips that you can obtain to convert power will do. So if you have an adapter without a type-C tip, look for an adapter tip of your current adapter. The thing that does matter is that both the tip and the adapters are 65 watts. Many, many fabulous designs such as the FINsix DART come and go very quickly. I was dreading having to go with the huge brick that I knew Dell was going to send (which they did), so these Lenovo to C adapters are priceless. I'm going to buy a few more, to work with my other adapters. When I find something that works, I definitely believe in redunduncy, as these may disappear quickly, too.

Received used, open box item that gave low charge message
Device arrived quickly. The box was sticky on the outside as a previous label was removed. The sticky area was dirty. The item didn't have internal packaging. I plugged it in and windows 10 / 11 show low charger warning. Returned.

Great for Reusing Older Power Adapters
I just purchased a Lenovo X1 Carbon laptop and wanted to use older power adapters as spares for travel or using in other parts of my home. This adapter fits the bill...it worked on a generation older power pack with no problems. Now I have an additional power supply as a backup to the one delivered with the laptop. This is a handle device and strongly recommend for anyone that wants to recycle older power supplies for ready use.

Will not work on Macbook Pro requiring 87W power brick
I bought this item and failed to see the 65W limitation. I also failed to understand why it won't negotiate 20V from 'any' brick I plug it into. Therefore, this item will never meet the specs it claims - even 65W. Not recommended if you need a minimum of 65W

Did NOT supply 65W to X1 Carbon from 230W power brick
With this adapter I attempted to power an X1 Carbon 9th Gen (which normally uses a 65W power brick) from a 230W power brick with yellow slim tip adapter (from an X1 Extreme), but the Carbon reported that it wasn’t receiving enough wattage (see screenshot).

Works, but not capable of even the rated 65W power
Before purchase I read the many reviews mentioning that laptops were complaining this charger was underpowered. My new laptop shipped with only a 65W power supply, which is the rating on this adapter, so I figured I'd roll the dice. It does work to charge the computer, but I still get the "slow charger" warning. Two stars because it is not capable of the 65W it claims to be, though it still does charge. Worth it so I don't have to toss my old second charger, I guess.

I am using this to connect a Thunderbolt 3 Hub that I originally purchased for the Lenovo P1 Gen 2, which takes the Slim Tip charger. Now the Hub is working perfectly with a Lenovo X1 Gen 7 which takes a USB C charger. No problems so far, but knocked off one star for the high price.
