Victorinox SwissCard Nailcare 13 Function Multitool, Ruby

With recent changes in my life, I felt it was time to carry a micro first aid kit with me, and so I went looking for convenient multi-tools I can keep on hand, and that's how I stumbled on this credit card sized tool. When I first opened the package, I was disappointed; I thought I had ordered the one with the small blade and light. :( But, now I'm glad I have this Victorinox multi-tool. It fits easily into the small side pocket in my purse and I completely forgot about it being there on a recent trip, so it did not get confiscated by TSA! It definitely comes in handy when you need something. I've used the emery board a couple of times; my husband needed something small and pointy and used the toothpick; I even used the tweezers for some "emergency" eyebrow maintenance. ;) Overall, I'm happy with this purchase. It was a splurge, but it feels very well-made, like it will last a long time. It even impressed my friends when we were all sharing our mini/micro emergency kits and such. XD

I bought this to keep in my backpack when I travel by air - to meet TSA rules. There is no blade, so this is ok for US air travel. It has a good selection of tools. The scissors are good, similar to the ones on the Classic. The file is great.

Brought this for travel and it works great. No issues going through security (airport or ship). It replaced the MiniChamp II in my pocket.

I keep this in my wallet. It’s overpriced in my opinion, but very nice to have at all times. I took a trip across the country and it was nice to have this along to open packages when I couldn’t bring along a knife. For the price point, the case should be aluminum or something more durable. I would buy a ton of these if they were more like $15 or $20.

Love this gadget! It is the same size as a credit card. It has many of the features I use most often on my Swiss Champ army knife. I work with wood and I have a frequent need to extricate a sliver or two, so I use the tweezers, magnifying, glass, and straight pin. My fingernails also take a beating so I find the glass nail file comfortable, sharp, and perfect to smooth over rough edges. Every once in a while, I come across plastic packaging, and the scissors, although very small, still do the trick. I occasionally use the toothpick and the ballpoint pen when the need arises. It is very easy to carry and I think it will pass TSA muster, although I have yet to try this. However, it is expensive, but I bought two anyway!

I love this tool card that is packaged in something basically the size of a large credit card. I take this tool with me everywhere. I really like that I can fly with this tool, and it takes up no room. I have used the scissors many times when on vacation. When I hiked King Ludwig’s Way in Germany, i took this tool in my boo-boo kit every day. It is very light weight. I used it the entire trip to create bandages for blister. I used the tweezers to deal with a tick.

Very high quality, made in Switzerland, cleverly designed item with many uses other than caring for fingernails. Definitely recommended as a fine and thoughtful gift for any woman in your life!
