Truly universal
I lost one on my baby gate, ecstatic to find this reasonably priced replacement. I use to keep my dogs from going upstairs. This item works great as a universal replacement part. Well made. Stabilizes the gate well. Easy to use.

Could be better
Why 4 starts? Well the top base for the screw could be larger for more firm grip to drywall etc.

Saved me from having to replace my gate
After misplacing the hardware for our gate, I expected to have to replace the entire thing. I tried this hardware first, and it worked perfectly. It saved us the expense and hassle of having to replace the whole gate. It was exactly the right size as easy to install.
