How many bars in a box? What do we get when we pay $15?

The price is now $11.99 for 6 bars, according to the description. If you think that is pricey, I'm looking at them because I've been ordering 12 energy bars w/caffeine for $24 from another company/different brand. I've been eating 2-3 each morning, but they only have the caffeine equivalent of one shot of espresso, not three. So, these seem like a GREAT deal to me. $2/day is less than half what I pay for espresso shots from Starbucks!

Can these be used for fuel while running long distances? .. currently marathon training .

Hi Liz, great question. Two things: 1) Given the nature of the product (dark chocolate rice crispy bar) I would say yes, it would be perfect for running long distances. It's very light and packed with energy. 2) Have we tested it with marathon runners yet? No not yet (we launched 3 months ago). On a personal note, I eat one everyday and sometimes before a workout and it DEFINITELY helps. Again, I know it doesn't answer your question 100% but hopefully you can get a feel. :) ~ Jesse

Would these be a good product to use as a preworkout?

Yes it’s a great choice. Personally, I do all the time. Side note: They’re strong so we recommend to eat half of a bar at first. 😊
