Thoughts for EC
I have been doing EC with my little one since she was 2 months old and this was the perfect potty for us. It was a great price especially compared to how much the other ones can be and it fit my newborn very well, we only had occasional times where she peed over the front of it because I did not place her far back enough, so keep that in mind when placing the infant on it. I loved that it had the easily washable band, my baby preferred having it on (it was not as cold) but it was easy to just slip under the lip to make for easy dumping and washing. I also brought it with us in the car and in the diaper bag and that worked very well, it is nice and compact. I would just sit with my legs crossed or under me and set her on top of it facing away and it felt very stable, the shape fits babies well. I used it until she was around 4 months old (though she was in the 90th percentile so I think it should last you longer if your baby is not as big as mine).

good potty for baby boys
I use this potty with my son. I think it works better for him than the top hat potty because it's raised in the front. The cushion around the rim made the potty cozy and not cold. It's comfortable and easy to clean. My only complaint is that I would like the potty to have a larger bottom so that it's easier to set down without worrying that it might tip over if it's not completely flat.

This little potty is fantastic!
The shape and size of this potty is just perfect to keep a little baby bottom in place and it's easy to use. I started using this for my 2 month old and it's so convenient even for first time ECers. The traction stickers for the sides don't hold on very well and fell off after a couple days even though I followed the instructions, but I just reattached mine with a little rubber cement. Problem solved. I highly recommend making up a little "toilet caddy" to carry this and other potty necessities in to keep it from spilling (especially if you have other kids like I do who could accidentally knock it over otherwise) and to make it very convenient to reach what you need once you're baby trapped and using your knees to hold it in place, but the base of the potty does stand it up pretty well on its own as is. All in all a very good purchase, and in my opinion a more logical and functional shape than a tophat design.

Not my favorite
This was not my favorite baby potty. I prefer a different one because of the shape. It was a little weird to hold this one. It's small which is nice and easy to clean.

Amazing potty even for 4 month babies!
This potty has been fantastic. The design is comfortable and supportive, and it’s easy for my baby to sit on. My daughter started using it right when she turned 4 months old. At first she squirmed a little, but that was mostly because she wasn’t used to it yet or was a bit gassy. Now she just turned 5 months and we have a very reliable morning routine. First thing in the morning I take off her diaper, apply Aquaphor or Vaseline, sit her on the potty, and give her her first bottle. I keep her on it for about 15–20 minutes after the feed and without fail she will poop and pee. The potty is small enough to fit comfortably between a parent’s legs while still catching everything. Occasionally a little pee might miss the front if she isn’t positioned perfectly, but that’s more about positioning than the potty itself. It’s lightweight, sturdy, and very easy to clean. It’s a hard bucket so it’s not the most travel-friendly for flights, but it’s super easy to bring in the car. Great value and totally worth it. Wish there were more liners but that’s okay. Pro tip: place a sheet of toilet paper in the potty so there’s no splash. Also easy to clean and dump in the toilet to flush away!

Great EC potty
We’ve been doing EC since our baby was 2 weeks old. I was looking for a potty since going in the sink was making a mess. I LOVE this potty. I put a chux pad down, potty between my legs and hold my baby on it and they go. I then dump the pee/poo into the toilet and clean the potty. Super nice!

Perfect to let baby go on potty early on!
I honestly love this potty. Especially for boys! You need to hold it between your legs though, it is not stable enough for it to stand alone and let little one sit on it. The design is questionable but whatever :) I don't like that you can't buy extra "top hat cozys" here, because you need a few spare...

Not Easy to Hold in Between Legs if You're on the Larger Side
This potty was smaller than I expected it to be, but also as someone who is on the larger side I find it hard to hold the potty between my legs without it slipping out or being uncomfortable while I hold my newborn on it. The design of it also feels like it could tip over easily if you're not careful. For the size and what it is, I don't find it worth it at the price it's listed at. I feel like you can purchase something similar for cheaper that's better built. I think the only good thing is it is easy to clean.
