Even better than expected. We took the door off our woodstove and put it inside. It looks fantastic, and throws nice heat. It fit perfectly, measurements provided were accurate. The only thing I don’t like is the setting number in bright red underneath the logs in the embers , so I covered it with black tape.even prettier at night. Thank you

This exceeded my expectations. It looks like a real fire and puts out heat in 2 settings (high and low). When you turn it on, it defaults to high heat mode. Press the heat button again and it cycles to low heat mode. Push the button one more time and the unit counts down from 59 to 0. While in countdown mode, it expels the heat. Once it gets to zero, the heat is off and it just emits the flame with no heat. That’s how I typically run it- no heat, just the ambiance. It’s worth mentioning that the unit is on top of the fireplace grill that was in my fireplace, so it sits up a bit higher which looks better than if it was on the fireplace floor.

They are so realistic and really keeps you warm! Although, sometimes I just turn off the blower and enjoy the flames. I also ordered one for my daughter and son-in-laws house. They love it! The one thing that I didn’t like, is the cord isn’t very long, (maybe 7ish ft), so I’ve had to use an extension cord to reach a plug-in. But, I NEVER leave it plugged in, if I’m not in the room. NEVER! Because the instructions say not to use an extension cord, or an electrical strip. But unfortunately I had to. It would help if it had a little bit longer electrical cord. In my case, anyway.

Love this insert. Warms the room. The fan noise is not loud but you can tell it’s on. Do like the flickering projection it helps it real. I would spring for the extra $$ and get the model that makes the fire sound.

Installed in minutes! Great addition to our den. All the beauty of a real fireplace without the mess. Can be used with or without heater. Wish we didn’t wait so long to purchase and the price was right.

Pleasantly surprised! Fit perfectly in my fireplace, flames look great and heater actually heats my room that has a vaulted ceiling. I like when things actually look, feel and perform like the ads say they will. Very satisfied!!

What a wonderful addition to our living room & without the hassle and mess of a wood burning fireplace! We stopped using our fireplace years ago due to the smoke coming into the house and cleanup. These are the perfect replacement. I love how the log glow, but also give the appearance of flames on the wall.

this is a GREAT option when you don't want to bother with a real fire. Fits perfectly inside my firplace and is basically plug and play. you will need access to plug close by. You can adjust the brighness for the flame and also just use the flame and turn the heater off. It's great for ambiance if you don't want the heat option. Have only used it a few times so can't give statement on long term reliability. For the price it's definitely worth trying!
