Sturdy, looks and works great

The plane my husband received his pilot license on was a Supper Club. He was excited when I gave this little whirly gig to him. It's very cute yard art!

Nice little yard ornament, but some drawbacks: 1. The mounting rod is threaded- so if the wind is variable, it will eventuall work out and the unit falls to the ground. 2. The propeller is WAY too big- needing a wind of about ten miles an hour to spin it. 3. The base of the unit is flimsy and will fail due to metal fatigue within a couple of months- rendering the item useless.

The design is great but functionality is worthless. The screws that assembled some of the parts on the plane from the factory are loose so you need to retighten all screws. The propeller isn’t adjusted correctly. The mounting bracket is flimsy as is the propeller assembly. Very cheaply made for $25 I spent on it. It’s unbalanced. Where they mount the bracket for the pole assembly is to far forward makes it nose heavy. I really don’t want to take it back apart and spend an hour fixing all the defects so it hangs in my room as an ornament. Very disappointed with the plane. you will be also. Shabby overrated product.

This is a nice weathervane for the price. Beautifully painted and very sturdy. Has bearings for the propeller and mount. Definitely can't go wrong with this brand, I am pleased. Might need a sturdier post if mounting into the ground, I am mounting it to a deck rail.

First of all the finished product does not exactly look like the product photos. That being said it’s not bad either. Yes the hardware is small but there’s triple the amount you will need. The instructions are photos but only takes about 15 minutes to put together. Suggest using Loctite on the hardware do the nuts don’t back off due to temperature changes or vibration. Will have to use some ingenuity to mounting on anything other than sticking it in the ground but not a big deal. Overall it’s a cute little piece and my wife likes it do enough said. After two weeks the bearing for the prop failed and now the prop no longer spins. Suppose I can find a bearing for it but why should I have to. Disappointed.
