Very clever piece of kit
Alsays wanted one of these, so after getting the Samsung Glaxy S23 Ultra, I took the plunge. Very well made, great that it comds with a mini tripod. However as I haven't had a lot of time to try it out, I will say "Read the online manual", because while many gadjets these days, can be very intuitive, the Osmo Mobile 6, is not, but once you go through ghe manual, figure out what all the controls do, it's great fun.. I needed to adjust the phone in the clamp, as I was worried it would press on the power button, but since miy phone is in a Spygen Tough Armor case, that was not a problem. Once you get the centre of gravity just right, this thing, despite the S23 Ultras weight, is incredbly smooth. The subject tracking is fantastic. All in all a great ourchase and I am sure, once the weather improves and I can get out and about, fir my long bike rides and walks, I will most definitely be pushing this thing to it's limits... Pity it can't be used with the S23 Ultras astro mode, and track the stars in the sky, but who kniws, the S23 Ultra and the Astro mode are bith pretty new and the S23 Ultra is not, as yet, on the official compatibility list. Anyway, if you are looking for an excellent gimbal for you smartphone, that is suprisingly inexpensive, the DJI Osmo Mobile 6, is one I would highly recommend.. and yes I also have a DJI Mini 3 Pro kit, but that's and entirely different kettle of fish.

Very capable.
The DJI Osmo Mobile 6 is an excellent piece of equipment and has made a noticeable difference to the quality of video I can achieve with my phone. The stabilisation is superb. Walking shots are considerably smoother and more professional looking than filming handheld, and once you get familiar with the different gimbal modes it gives you a lot of creative possibilities. It’s worth purchasing a magnetic phone attachment. It makes setting up extremely quick compared with having to fit the phone into a complicated holder every time. The gimbal folds down neatly too, so it is easy to take out with you rather than becoming another bulky piece of camera equipment. The built-in extension rod is surprisingly useful for getting higher, lower or more unusual angles, and the controls are well positioned and intuitive once you’ve spent a little time using them. DJI’s tracking features are also impressive and the Mimo app provides plenty of additional options if you want to experiment with more advanced shots. There is a small learning curve if you’ve never used a gimbal before, but that’s part of learning how to get the best from it. Once mastered, the results can be excellent. For anyone who enjoys smartphone photography and especially video, I can highly recommend the Osmo Mobile 6. Well designed, beautifully engineered and capable of turning an already excellent smartphone camera into a much more serious filmmaking tool.

Excellent Upgrade from my Osmo 3
I’ve owned an Osmo Mobile 3 for several years and it’s been great, ensuring my video filming using my iPhone XS Max has always been shake-free, and feature-rich. As I upgraded my iPhone to a 14 Pro Max, I thought I’d also upgrade my Osmo to the latest model with all its improvements. The 3 used to require careful balancing and alignment of the phone in the cradle, which could take a few minutes sometimes. The fact that the 6 doesn’t, doing it automatically, makes it worth the upgrade all on its own. I bought a MagSafe adapter, and now just magnetically grip the phone to the gimbal in a split second, letting me start filming much much faster than the 3. It also has a built-in extension so you can film high up or low down without needing a selfie stick or extendable tripod. The Osmo 3 folds away nicely in your bag, the 6 folds away better - you can even fit it in your jeans pocket, plus it can be locked when folded so doesn’t unfold on its own. The DJI app used to make videos is excellent, also improved in the years since I bought the 3. The follow tracking function works really well and I can film myself moving left and right, up and down, safe in the knowledge I remain centered in the picture. The app gives lots of tips on improving your filming, recommending angles, features and functions that enable better, more enjoyable video creation. There are many features like Timelapse, Panorama and Hyperlapse that produce quality images and footage. Battery life is good - I’ve yet to run out of charge whilst filming. Charging is accomplished via USB-C, and can be done when away from mains plugs using a powerbank, allowing for longer video sessions. The gimbal is also compatible with many of the best video apps available on the iPhone such as Filmic Pro, which offers Osmo compatibility as a built-in setting. The Osmo Mobile 6 is a great improvement over the 3, and will serve my videoing needs for years to come. It’s very good, and remains one of the best gimbals for smartphones on the market. Two thumbs up.

A Must-Have Gimbal for Smooth, Professional-Looking Videos!
The DJI Osmo Mobile 6 has exceeded my expectations in every way. Setup is quick and intuitive, and the foldable, lightweight design makes it super easy to carry around. The stabilization is outstanding—my footage looks smooth and cinematic, even when I’m walking or filming on the go. The built-in extension rod is a brilliant addition for vlogging and getting creative angles, and the object tracking works flawlessly. It locks onto the subject and keeps it perfectly in frame, which is amazing for solo creators. Battery life is solid, the controls are responsive, and the companion app offers lots of smart features without feeling overwhelming. Whether you’re filming for YouTube, TikTok, travel videos, or just capturing everyday moments, this gimbal instantly upgrades your content. Highly recommended for anyone who wants professional-quality results straight from their phone!

A Balanced Look at the DJI Osmo Mobile 6
I’ve been using the Osmo Mobile 6 for the past few weeks, and my first impression was how compact and sturdy it feels in hand. Clipping my phone into the magnetic mount was straightforward, and the fold-out design makes it easy to stash in a camera bag. The adjustment wheel lets you fine-tune balance quickly, though it took me a couple of tries to get perfect centering. In day-to-day shooting, the three-axis stabilization lives up to its promise—walking shots come out noticeably smoother than handheld footage. ActiveTrack 6.0 generally follows moving subjects well, but it can lose focus under low light or when multiple people cross the frame. The DJI Mimo app unlocks fun modes like hyperlapse and DynamicZoom, yet its layout feels cluttered at times, and a few functions occasionally lag or crash on my older phone. Battery life hovers around six hours of moderate use, which covers a full afternoon of casual filming but falls short if you’re planning all-day shoots. The built-in tripod and quick-release switch between portrait and landscape in seconds, making it an easy companion for both video and stills. At roughly 300 grams, it’s light enough to hold for extended periods, though heavier phone setups can introduce a slight pull. Overall, the Osmo Mobile 6 delivers noticeably steadier footage and unlocks creative modes that my phone alone can’t achieve. The learning curve is real—expect to spend an afternoon exploring menus and tweaking settings—but once you’ve dialed it in, it becomes a reliable tool for cleaner, more polished clips.

Heads up. It works with iPhone 6 Plus.
This gimbal is an amazing peice of kit in my opinion. It’s light, extremely portable. Easy to use. Some reviewers have commented on it being overpriced. But in my opinion you get what you pay for. Yes there are cheaper options, including earlier dji models. But i think the extension arm was the dealbreaker for me. I get the impression it will last me for years, so have no problem being £145 lighter in the wallet. I just wanted to mention Two things that potential buyers might find useful, I haven’t seen already mentioned. Firstly, it works absolutely great with the iPhone 6 Plus, altho dji’s own compatibility list says earliest phone is the 8. Ok, it’s an old phone, but I’m sure there’s still plenty in circulation. I will be upgrading soon tho. Secondly, you don’t need to use the app, if you just want basic 3 axis stabilisation and start/stop, and picture taking features. It works as a standalone unit. It’s just a Bluetooth connection. You don’t get the zoom or tracking of course. But can still pan in all directions. So if you just want to do a basic shoot, just use your phone’s camera app. Why would you do this you may ask. Well to save your phones battery life. If there’s one downside to the app, is it literally sucks the life out of my phones battery. I can’t comment on newer phones with bigger capacity just yet. All in all tho, it’s still 5 stars from me. I love it. I may do an update, when i get my 13 pro max next week.

A great upgrade and well worth it
I purchased this as an upgrade from my OM3 and have as yet used it a handful of times, all I can say is WOW!!.Still finding my way around its modes and I'm finding it amazing.Battery life is really very good.Tracking is brilliant and when used with the Mimo App its a lot more stable in its connection and doesn't "Drop out" as I found with my older OM3.The extendable selfie stick gives you a little more reach which is a nice touch, however on the downside, but only for me, when fully extended I find difficulty in balancing the unit in my hand,I have arthritis in my hands and wrists and the weight of my iPhone on it makes it a little top heavy for me to hold comfortably. As I say thats the only problem that I've got, however with lock mode on it seems to cope with my own problem. Its an excellent design and its size makes a comfortable hold when not extended. If you want a gimbal to get into video, then get this...It's worth it 5 Stars *****

Useless
I have a Pixel 7 Pro, which apparently this is compatible with. Whilst the software does work, the issue mainly stems from the clasp which holds the phone, which defeats everything about this gimbal. The clasp grips the phone by the sides, and needs to around the middle of the phone for the proper weight balance. The problem is, that's exactly where the volume and power buttons are, which means it's pressing on those buttons constantly which then interferes with the functionality of the phone, and thus the software that's actually controlling the gimbal. I can't move the clasp up, because then it'll block the cameras. I tried moving the clasp lower so it's not pressing on the buttons, but then there's too much up top that it can't rotate properly. My phone is MagSafe (via the case), as are iPhones for the last several years. Why o why they didn't make this MagSafe compatible (or at least include an adapter) that would just allow me to snap the phone on and off securely with ease is beyond me. MagSafe adapters can even be aligned, so really there's no excuse. Another issue is the weird and awkward way you have to open and close it; because it folds back on itself, unless you have it orientated exactly right, it'll just hit itself. It took me a while to figure out the correct way to do it, thanks to there being no direction. And lastly, whilst it does have a slot for you to thread a lanyard strap through, you're not actually provided with one. They provide you with a pouch, like you can't store it in the box when at home, or in your pocket when out and about... but when you're actually using it (and likely to drop it, etc), there's no lanyard provided. And the software is terrible too; OK, I get why it needs its own app to synchronise with the Osmo, fair enough. But my phone can record natively at 4K60, this only lets me record at 4K30? What a waste of my phone's capabilities :( I really wanted to like this, but it's a no from me. I just can't seem to get on with it.

Gimbal söylendiği gibi çok kaliteli…
Bu aleti tam öğrenmeden çekim yapmaya kalkarsanız hüsran yaşarsınız ki bende öyle oldu. Şu an kullanmıyorum çünkü ben de tam öğrenemedim.

Smooth smartphone stabilizer for iPhone users with a very handy extension rod
I returned the Osmo SE after realizing how much I missed having a built-in extension rod, and picking up the Osmo Mobile 6 proved to be the right move. The magnetic phone clamp snaps onto the back of my phone in seconds, and unfolding the unit powers it on automatically so you can start recording video clips right away. The extra reach from the telescoping rod makes a huge difference when capturing wider group shots or high-angle perspective clips without straining your arm. It is worth stating plainly that this gimbal is vastly superior when paired with an iPhone rather than an Android device. DJI's Mimo app software on iOS is significantly better overall, giving you access to proper 4K recording, full framerate options, and smooth switching across all rear camera lenses without degrading image quality. On Android, the app experience feels far more compromised and frustrating. Using it with an iPhone, the ActiveTrack subject tracking keeps family members locked in frame during outdoor walks, and the physical side wheel makes quick zoom and focus adjustments feel natural. The 3-axis motor stabilization works exceptionally well at smoothing out footstep jitter when walking around or tracking fast-moving kids in the backyard. The whole package folds down small enough to toss into a daily carry bag, and the battery easily lasts through a full afternoon of shooting video. If you are looking for a reliable mobile stabilizer and shoot primarily on iOS, the added extension rod and dependable tracking software make this a solid piece of gear.
