Notifies of power failure too!
I have set it up to remotely activate an alarm. Nice plus in this product is that it provides an app alert if power goes down. It is perfect for monitoring security situations.

Auto Scheduler Feature not working as expected
The plug works fine as described. However the reason I didn't gave full 5 star is because of the following. I set a scheduler to turn on the socket at 6:30 PM. However current has gone before 6:30 and came after 6:30 around 6:40. However it did not automatically turn on the light. Also note that after current came back or before when I set both times it was connected to internet. So it should have automatically turn on the socket when current came at 6:40. I have manually turn on the socket using the app. I don't know how they have programmed it or if there is any internal battery or not. However this thing is not able to keep information within itself when power is not there I think.
