Great product
Worked just as it said it would. Loud enough. Impressed!

Good quality.
So easy to set and is loud enough for my elderly, vision impaired mother.

Helpful for low vision
My 95 year old aunt with low vision has the full size version in her sitting room and got the smaller one for her bedroom. In the bedroom, she had been listening to the radio waiting for the announcer to say the time. Now she just touches the button!

So far so good
First of all, it's probably smaller than you think it is. I'm not saying this listing is deceptive, though the one image of the girl giving the clock to her grandmother shows a box at least twice as big as the actual box. I was almost shocked at how small the clock is. That said, the size is fine. It's not so small that it'll get lost or too small to be seen by an elderly person. It has good grippy feet that keeping it from sliding. So, it's fine. It's just the first impression I got was, wow, this is so small! The voice is clear and understandable. The instructions are clear and easy to understand. Setting the clock is simple. There's only really two downsides to this product so far. One, there's no volume control. What you get is what you get. I think it's loud enough for my mom, but for someone more hard of hearing this might not be the product you need. Second problem is if the button is held down for three seconds the clock goes into "standby mode" (basically turns off) and won't do anything until the button is held down for three seconds again. I bought this clock for my mom who has dementia. I told her to just press the button and it will tell you the time. Of course, the first thing she does is hold the button down until it goes into standby mode. I can't really blame her. The clock doesn't tell the time when the button is pressed down, it tells the time when the button is released. I can see a lot of elderly people holding the button down waiting to hear the time only to put the clock into standby mode. If they make a new version of this product someday I think that's something they should consider improving, or just removing the standby function completely. But over all, I think it's a pretty good product. Having now seen it in person, I'm not so sure about the price. Feels more like a $10 or $15 product. But, I can understand the call for these items being low enough that they'd have to charge more to make producing them worth it. Bottom line, if the person receiving this clock can hear fairly well and can understand to not to hold the button down, this product does what it says on the tin.

POOR quality
This item was the answer to my elderly mom’s need to know the time. (She has Poor vision) Volume was good and easy to understand. However, it had not been dropped/damaged when it stopped working only after 5-6 weeks of use. At first it restarted but when in ‘off’ mode and now nothing. This is not something made to last and it’s $25 price tag is a joke. Too bad as it did work. Update: Seller gratefully replaced the first clock when informed of not working. Sadly a year later it works about 25% of time. Seems the design of contact mechanism requires even pressure to engage and thus gets ‘fussy’ when pressed on an edge, etc. Truly a life-changing device for those who need it, but (again) be wary 🫤 due to mechanical issues. Also…there is no way to open it to adjust/fiddle with mechanism.

Talking clock
This clock really helps if you can't see and really are blind; it tells you the month, the day, the year and the time. It's very helpful if you have medicine to take on a schedule.
