is this knife good for self defense?

Not if you're walking down the street because the police may harass you if you're carrying that on your belt. In the woods it would be ok. Just because you have a big knife doesn't mean you know how to use it. Ii suggest you find someone who can teach you self defense and how to use a knife in that situation. You may find having a knife, especially one that size may get you into more trouble than you can handle.

Yes very intimidating. Its huge!

Yes, but it is very cheaply made, and I ordered the one you see which is chrome color, but it came in black. It was so cheap that I just kept it anyway. You can’t really do much with it but have it for show. It feels like it would break if you tried to do any hard work with it.
