I was so excited when Joel Sartore's most recent photo ark was just released, and I immediately had to get it. The photographs are absolutely stunning, I've had this new addition on my coffee table for a week now. Visiting friends and family have been going for this book and are awed by the images. The content of this book is a testament to his mission to make us look closer into why it is so important to think about our impact on all earth creatures. I love that Sartore always captures the essence of animals of all kinds. It is worth the buy, and so enriching to have, look at and read. You won't be disappointed.

Love it! Joel Sartore's images really bring these critters to life. I've found that I'm noticing -- and enjoying -- some of the critters that used to make me cringe. This book is just the thing for those of us who don't know or understand the insect world, and need real photos to help acquaint us with these critters.

I love the other Photo Ark books I have so when I saw this one I had to have it. Its seems odd that insects could be so beautiful but they are when Mr. Sartore shoots them. I am very pleased and have spent many hours looking at this addition to my collection. I highly recommend it.

A fascinating book with excellent macro photos of hundreds of insects and the like with excellent captions and anecdotes about their life stories.

This is part of an amazing series of books. The photographs are nothing short of works of art. If you love nature or life, you need these books.

I am rich in knowing a lot more about the animals and insects around me. I highly recommend The Photo Ark, Birds of the Photo Ark, and Photo Ark Insects. My gratitude to Mr. Sartore and National Geographic is endless. When I leave this particular life, I'll pass these books onto a family with children.
