I recently added the Ulip Rear Suspension Upgrade Kit to my "guest/spare" scooter. My main rig has a name-brand option mounted on it, but I have to say, this suspension is an absolute great value. It's significantly cheaper than the name-brand version, yet it provides about 90% of the performance. Value for Money The cost savings with this kit are substantial. Despite the lower price, it delivers nearly the same level of improvement in ride comfort and stability as the more expensive alternatives. Installation The instructions provided are very lacking. However, with a bit of patience, some deep breaths, and probably a cup of coffee, you can get it together. The assembly process can be a bit tricky, but it's worth the effort for the improved ride quality. Build Quality While the build quality isn't the best I've seen, it is more than sturdy enough. Reusing as many of the OEM screws and bolts from the scooter itself helps ensure a secure installation. Additional Tips Be prepared to re-seal the bottom gasket of your scooter. You will likely need to open it up to extend the motor wiring harness, as the suspension pushes the motor back an inch or two. This slight extension gives you a longer wheelbase, which is a nice bonus. Re-sealing is easy if you are careful with the gasket as it comes off. If you are rough with your scooter, just grab some silicone gasket sealer, and it's easy to improve the waterproofing of your scooter. Overall Impression This rear suspension upgrade kit is a fantastic value for anyone looking to improve their Segway Ninebot Max G30 series scooter. The ride quality is significantly better, and the slight extension of the wheelbase adds to the overall experience. Despite the lacking instructions and the need for a bit of DIY spirit, this kit is a worthwhile investment. Highly recommended for those on a budget!

It is almost perfect. It rattles. But with a little improvise, it works.

It fits perfectly and it’s good enough quality to hold up. If you do install this, I recommend you use the original screws from the scooter if you have them. If not, use the ones that come with the kit anyways. USE BLUE/MEDIUM/SEMI-PERMANENT THREAD LOCKER. I’ve seen a lot of reviews complaining that screws come loose after riding for a while. I’m here to tell you that I’ve been using the scooter on very rough terrain for 4 days and the screws are as tight and firm as they were when I installed them. If you don’t use thread locker, they will wiggle loose. You always wanna use thread locker on any bolts or screws that will be exposed to a lot of vibrations. Lastly, as to address the issue with the rear fender breaking after a while.. It does vibrate a lot. and the plastic is a little too brittle/stiff to handle all that shaking while only being mounted from two center screws. If you wanna be on the safe side and give that fender some extra strength, you might need to remove it, and reinforce it with something. You could either modify the mounting points and give it structural integrity that way, or you can bend a piece of steel or aluminum to the curvature of the fender and mount it that way. I plan to do this myself because I don’t wanna buy another kit just to replace the fender.
