BestEvMod for Ioniq5 LHD Screen Side Mesh Panel Black Wrap Compatible with Hyundai Ioniq 5 2022 2023 2024 2025 Screen Accessories

If you added an aftermarket black bezel overlay to cover the stock white bezel on a Hyundai Ioniq5, this black mesh fabric is the missing piece that you need for a cohesive look. Installation was straightforward...which is good because there were zero instructions included. The hardest part was removing the plastic panel (with OEM white fabric) from the dash. Unfortunately, the plastic tool that was included with the kit is fairly useless. It is not strong enough to pry the panel and it bent almost immediately. Luckily, I had an extra spudger from a laptop repair kit and a thin metal shim that were able to safely pop the panel off the dash. The BestEvMod black mesh overlay was cut perfectly and can be stretched taught over the panel. Using a few pieces of the included double-sided adhesive strips kept everything in place. Once done and the panel popped back into place, everything looks completely stock and matches the new black bezel overlay perfectly!

It took quite a while to remove the existing white mesh panel. You should definitely start at the top left. The include included tool and tape work pretty well. Be sure to apply the tape before you try and take off the top backing side. It doesn’t feel as nice as the factory default mesh surface, but it looks good when it’s nice and taut.

This product was great to change the color of my speaker grill for the Ioniq 5. Getting it off using the supplied tools was quite easy. The most difficult thing for me was getting the backing off the adhesive, it should have easy pull off tabs because those adhesives were so small. I ended up using my own double stick tape and got the job done. Ultimately, a great look to go along with the Matte black bezel and matte screen protector.

It’s loose. Not really a good fit and loses magnetism

I got this to go along with black screen protector. Once installed, it looks factory and blends perfectly. The install however, is tricky. It’s really important to align it right and use the included double sided tape to ensure a tight fit. Once the mesh is on the piece, take your time snapping it back in place. Pinching the edge can pull the mesh loose from the tape and cause it to be loose. Besides that, the only other gripe would be that adding another layer of material causes magnets not to stick as well Install aside, It looks amazing and really pulls together the black display. I definitely recommend it

It looks great, and with a little work you can get the cover nice and tight, absolutely worth the money, but if you need it to fit perfectly on the dashboard or it will constantly bug you, keep in mind, unless you remove the fabric from the part before putting this cover on, it will not fit flush back into the dashboard.

I looked at the pics on product screen on amazon as no instructions came with product. I used the metal pry tool and gently worked from top near snaps shown in pics. Panel poped out fairly easily. I had to get a pin to seperate the double sided tape. When I installed the panel back in car I had to reposition my screen bezzel from best ev mods. the combo looks really good now that it is installed on my white car.

The product came as advertised and was easy to install. Installed within 5 minutes. Came with a set of tools, that I now have to use for other projects. This completes the look I was looking for. Also, it's easily reversible.
