SYOAUTO Matte Black Rim Touch Up Paint, Car Wheel Scratch Repair Touch Up Paint Pen, Universal Color Rim Wheel Paint (Matte Black)

Surprised at the great job this paint did on my 2025 VW Taos black wheel which was scuffed against a curb and had a three inch gash that really stood out. I have painted a few rims on other cars before - sanding filling in and smoothing, applying primer and spray painting - it’s a two day process. Since I was going on a trip the next day I decided to try this product to temporarily cover the ugly gash and I will go back in the spring to do a “professional” job. I just sanded a bit to remove the sharp ridge and applied a couple of coats directly to the wheel without using primer. I’m very surprised how smooth and glossy it worked out. I applied two coats within I few minutes of each other. You really have to go right up to the rim and search for where the repair was done. Take a look at the photo. Note that the concrete driveway is reflected on the rim.

I did my first touch u on my scratched rim. I honestly I went through a dozen car washes before I had to do a retouch up. This touch up paint is really good and it works.

Gloss black matched well to aftermarket black powder coated wheels. Paint isn't thin or running and applies well. Quick dry time and more than enough for a handful of scratches.

I am very happy with the results. Great match for my OEM Chrysler crossfire wheels. Washed the area, used an alcohol wipe, let dry and then brushed paint on. Near perfect color match, in most light, no matter how close you simply can’t tell it was touched up.

I used it to touch up the tire rim scratches on my rental car wheel. It worked very well. The scratches hardly noticeable afterwards.

Bought satin white as that’s what color my car is. Said satin white on bottle and it looks like white out. Thought maybe when it dried it’d get better but did not. So now I need to find a paint to cover that up. Don’t bother buying this product. Going to have to buy the real deal $$
