Splendor Duel has quickly become one of our absolute favorite two-player games. It’s fast, strategic, and incredibly fun without ever feeling overwhelming. If you like the game Splendor but wished there was a better way to play with just two people, then you'll enjoy this game. It took us a time or two playing and re-reading the instructions as we went to truly understand the differences from the original but it's a fun take on the normal Splendor game. The quality of the game pieces are very good just like the original - the coins are very solid and the cards are thick enough to be easily damaged. It's a little pricey but based on the quality it's worth it knowing it will last. If you haven't played the original, you are good starting with this version, it really is its own edition and not required to be familiar with the other version.

This is a great two player game! Takes about an hour and is challenging and the strategy is always changing! It’s one of our favs and we play it almost every day!!

This is the game my 15 year old daughter and I return to again and again. No two games are the same. It builds into a frenzy at the end and winning feels great and losing frustrating. Either way, you are excited to play again. Just an absolute great game.

Fun two person board game. Easy to learn after reading the instructions and watching a quick YouTube video. The design is great because you can take it to cafés or play right on your kitchen table. My husband and I love the two player version of this game because we can play it with just the two of us.

A lot of fun packed in a little box! I like that there are three ways to win now instead of one. Also. I like the privilege scrolls that really make the game more interesting to play. The nobels are more balanced now that a player can only aquire up to 2 instead of all 4 of them.

This is a fun game with interesting mechanics. It is relatively easy to learn and quick to play. It can suffer, though, from one player doing a lot better than the other so that matches are not close.

It's a lot better 2 player game than regular Splendor, and it is quite charming and fun game. Phenomenal introduction to set collection, open drafting, and engine building mechanisms.

This is a great game for 2 people. You don't need to read so easy for my 11 and 6 year old to play together. I find a lot of kids games soul-destroying to play but I love this one. Can be played quite quickly and is neat to take away with you.
