Easy to setup, i mainly use the app, and the smart functions are great. Now the light can also be an ambient light.

I'm a bit fussy with lighting, I have Philips Hue all the way through the house now, but I needed to get some smart lights for a garden room that was too far away to get signal to the Hue hub. I've been a fan of tp-link gear for some time, from both a networking and smart home perspective, having bought some smart switches previously (both Kasa and Tapo which all worked well, never had a problem). So I bought four of these lights and installed them the other night, first impressions were good, the lights were bright, colours seemed good. The big test was how easy they would be to control and automate with the Tapo App. I've got to say I was impressed with the way they allowed you to group the lights to turn them all on at once, or in a single automation with schedule/etc. It's not as good as using the Hue app, but it does a good job and I would recommend them. The price point is pretty good for what you get, I had all four lights setup, firmware updated and in use within about 10-15 minutes. Very happy with them.

Lamp worked straight out of the box, had to plug into a holder nearer the router initially, but once connected via wifi and the app, it worked fine when moved back to the garage wall. Time will tell if it remains reliable. This review is for the replacement bulb i recieved, the first being non-working, basically wasting an hour of my time following every bit of guidance i could find, must have done 20 reset permutations, 2 locations, with no response, though it did light up, so you end up wasting time trying to fix something that clearly cant be.... the first bulb i was sent was in a small box only just big enough for the bulb, not sealed, so guess i was just sent someone elses faulty return, the new model is in a taller wrapped box, with better graphics, and seems to be working ok.

It is so nice and easy to use. I use it at front door, and able to schedule it to turn on at night, much better than I have to turn on myself or keep it on all the time.

Great bulbs adding a bit of colour to my house . Easy to connect with the tapo app, and simple to adjust .

I have these bulbs all over my house, very easily controlled by the app and I can change the lighting to suit the time of year and change them back again just as quick, the bulbs last for ever and connect to my WiFi so fast and easy. I have so many colour ranges to chose from, normal red blues and greens to weird. The bulbs are so bright and is variable as well.

I just used these to replace some failed Phillips hue bulbs as I already have a ton of Tapo devices in the house and so much cheaper than hue with no need for the annoying hub, had them setup in less than 5 minutes and auto detected by the Tapo skill in Alexa just had to add them to the right room and then all back up and running

I thought they were pretty good as they are, well priced, fit OK, reasonably easy to set up (although connecting a room of 8 of them takes 10 mins or so even when you're very well versed with the procedure... ask how I know that...) have a nice bright light to them, and work well when connected to the app - nicely controllable and good enough grouping for our purposes. ....but.... I had a set of 8 for about 6 months and they must have been connected to our (otherwise well behaved) Wi-Fi and therefore the app for a total of 2 months max. They initially remained connected for a good while, but one day all disconnected at once, broadcasting their own wi-fi (which creates problems of their own) and demanding to be set up again. Following this they basically stuggled to remain connected for more than a couple of days. The connection process takes a while - as I mention got it down to 10 minutes after repeating it about 20 times, so you can imagine how long it takes when not practiced. But I step through this and a couple of days later max they are back to disconnected. Fortunately they do seem to remember what light setting they were last on so function OK as conventional GU10s with whatever colour of light you want, but that's not the point. So great idea, nice quality, poor implementation. I would have thought Tapo could fix it if they were bothered.

the product doesn't work, it never connects to the app. contacted the support, they don't provide any help neither return. DONT BUY IT!!!

راااائعة ، سهل ربطها بالتطبيق وفيها كل الوان الاضاءات اللي ممكن تفكر فيها. نقصت نجمة بسبب سعرها المرتفع.
