How soon is the 3rd version supposed to come out? I don't want to purchase this one and then have the new one with updated features out soon

The smell must be bad after weeks accumulating waste. Can I dispose just the dirty side every couple days without throwing away the plastic spindle?

We bought one roll and empty it every other day or so. We’ve never thrown the plastic rod away; instead, we create our own rolls using charcoal pee pads from Amazon. Flip them all face-side down and tape them. Take less than five minutes and saves you lots of money/smell!

What if the power goes out? Is there a backup power option?

If the power goes out the machine will restart when power resumes. We don't offer a power backup option, but you can supply your own UPS if desired.
