SNAPFX - Clipper

1)Let’s start with the SnapFX batteries. I charged them fully out of the box and tested. Each of my 2 included batteries get 60min of continuous run time. Starts blinking blue at 20min runtime left. Blinks red with 5min runtime left. Takes 3 hours to fully charge. Blinks while charging and stays solid when fully charged. 2)Clipper is not super loud. Louder than magnetic corded clippers yes, but still on the quieter side compared to most cordless clippers out on the market (quieter than the Wahl 5 Star Magic Clips for sure). 3)The included Fade blade has been my go-to from Babyliss for a while. It is a graphite alloy and dissipates heat well- thereby it does not get as hot as standard steel. Able to be Zero-Gapped. Blade opens incrementally with 5 tactile lever positions, and won’t move out of place on you. Accepts Wahl guards and utilizes the same blade footprint. 4)Included guards are a super durable, rigid, and constructed of either thick nylon or polymer; very high quality, and come with riveted metal rear tail hooks for attaching. These guards will likely never break. Infinitely better than my colorful Wahl guards, which I have had to replace in the past. 5)Aesthetics are dead sexy. The whole clipper is heavy, but very sturdy. Sleek and polished black chrome definitely reflects that high end look, and the finish holds up decently well over time. Batteries snap in rigid and will not accidentally snap out, and the sling point at the base of the battery is snug and will hold up well. There is no wobble anywhere. The removable magnetic front plate is definitely big brain for cleaning and disinfecting. This clipper performs awesome, and has been very well engineered. I really think Babyliss outdid themselves with this one. I’m very impressed. If you want a sturdy, capable, proficient pair of clippers, then look no further. I was very excited to get these in for my barber journey and frankly I was a little disappointed. Trimmer opinion: Opening the box they were dirty as if they were left around someone that was cutting and then put in the box to be shipped off. Fast forward they are great at working for very thin fine hair but not for course hair. Trying to make a dent in someone’s hair was very hard to do it just would not cut and then if it did it would pull so hard I saw peoples skin pull with the hair so I don’t use this trimmer as much as I’d like to. Sadly I am not as excited as I was when I first got it. I have gapped them to see if it will make a difference but have yet to use it gapped yet. Clipper opinion: opening the box same as the trimmers they were dirty and looked used but that didn’t really bother me to much because it’s a hit or miss ordering anything in general, but I love these clippers they are great !!! Absolutely love them ! They cut like butter and have no issues with them thus far! They are so light weight even with how big they are! No complaints with the clipper and the guards they came with are nice !

Excellent set. Cuts even. Batteries last a very long time.
