I liked that the product was simple and it was easy to disassemble. That may not be it's exact intended use but I needed a custom solution and I needed a piece that could be slightly customized. This would work fine if you just cut a 1 and 7/8 in hole and mounted it but due to its construction I was easily able to slightly alter it and make it work for my project. I checked out the design of other products and they were built in a complex manner that would not have allowed me to adjust them. So whether you are using it as intended or doing a little customization this is definitely the part for you for the right price!

Added this to my kitchen island. It works perfectly.

Make sure to order the one with the optional front and back caps and sleeves. Otherwise wire connections in the back are exposed. Very nice quality. Using in a boat but will give it a good spray of corrosion inhibitors. Easy to mount with a 1 3/4” hole saw. Fit perfectly! Even provided two nice screws.

Exactly as described, easily installed with the proper sized hole saw. Then just plug it into an outlet. Clean looking and only 2” in diameter .

I was expecting the plastic nut on the bottom, but you can also unscrew the top plate and install the plug from underneath. Just be careful when you screw the face plate back on, as mine became cross threaded, and the more I tried to remove the plate again, the tighter it became. There's no way to remove it now! Still works good, I removed one star for the stupid design that even allows a cross thread to happen...

I purchased this actually for adding power from a wall outlet in an upper kitchen cabinet which our over the stove microwave oven plugs into. I wanted to add led lighting above the cabinet. I cut a round hole in the top of the cabinet so that the cord goes into the cabinet and plugs into the outlet. As I did not need a 6' cord, at first I bundled it together but I then went back and cut the cord to about 8" and put a new plug on the cord end, so that it looked clean and did not have a cord bundled up. I saw a couple negative reviews but I have to say that it is tremendous, works fantastic and appears to be very well manufactured. Highly recommend.

I needed power to my soundbar that is a little thinner than most, this turned out to be the ideal solution. It is in the wall right behind the soundbar completely hidden from view-perfect!

This outlet worked great! It has a nice long cord on it. We rebuilt our living room wall and installed a wall mounted fireplace and mantel. The mantel is hollow so I installed this outlet on one end so that we can plug things in to decorate for the holidays! It worked fantastic.

No me gusta cuando los productos no son como los muestran en imágenes. En las imágenes de publicidad se ve de mejor calidad, se ve de un acabado liso. Y no es así, trae un acabado rugoso, y lo hace ver un poco feo y de no muy buena calidad. Aunque cabe mencionar que la calidad de ensamblado y funcionamiento está bien. De echo precisamente su acabado no favorece su calidad general.
