Robust through and through.
It comes with 4 amp/hr batts, and a scaled up charger from my 2 amp/hr DeWalt drill. The bag included is strong, though I don't use it. The tool itself hasn't given me any trouble removing/replacing fasteners. Battery life (I Know 4 amp/hr isn't the top dog) has been fine for me. Moreover, I let a buddy, who is a mechanic borrow when his compressor went down. He used it for a few days and no problems with the batt life. Led light is always handy. It doesn't have the 3 speed transmission like the newer model, but the trigger is sensitive enough, I don't think it needs it. I've used it to yank lugs crossmember bolts, and body mount bolt on a 2004 Tahoe I bought for a winter beater (rust protecting it currently). The tool has not struggle with any of it. Also a nice tool to carry around with you for long trips. Make quick work out of changing a tire. If you're working on semi-trucks, heh, or battle tanks everyday, this might not be the tool for you. But for common work, it is more than adequate.

Great Impact Wrench
Great Tool for the Price. Plenty of Power, to get the Job done !

A must-have, especially if you work with lug nuts for a living
I recently started doing roadside assistance work. Initially I was going to just roll with a breaker bar for changing flats, but I quickly realized this would wear me down fairly rapidly. Harbor Freight has an impact wrench for the same price with about 3x the power (approx. 1200 ft./lbs. torque), and I am sure it is a fine quality tool there, but I have always preferred DeWalt. Anyway, I was initially concerned that 400 ft./lbs. would not be enough for certain stubborn lug nuts, but so far not even remotely an issue! It may also be a blessing in disguise having less torque, as this may prevent over-torquing of the nuts (I'm NOT a mechanic, so take this opinion accordingly lol). Battery life has been simply amazing....I have yet to see loss of power, and I am going into my 3rd full week of use. This kit comes with an extra battery also, by the way. SUPER PLEASED with my new tool for making tire changing a BREEZE!!

What can I say? No more firing up the big compressor to use the impact!
This tool is so so great! Previously, I would fire up the big air compressor, un-reel the air hose, put oil in my old impact, connect it to my air hose, drag the tool with the hose attached out to the car........ Well, NO MORE!!!! This tool has plenty of power for working on what ever I ask it to do. We have used it to take the wheels off of all our cars and my neighbors car too! And, the batteries seem to last a very long time, mostly because the tool only needs a few bursts of power to do the job. I love all things DeWalt and this makes me love DeWalt even more. I have multiple tools that use the 20v batteries and this one does also. It's a really great system and a really REALLY convenient impact wrench. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Amazing batteries, great torque, but a bit big
I bought this because I didn't want to run an air impact, or a corded impact. A small, portable one seemed great This does everything I need it to do, and more. The only downfall is the size of the dang thing, it's bulky and can't fit in a lot of places. Its power is fantastic, it will crack most every bolt I've tried. Some lugs seem to be too much, but I live in the salt ring, so it's understandable. The batteries are unreal. I pulled an engine using this, and transmission, and used it for some projects in between and I'm still on the first battery charge, 2/3 bars left. They are incredible, I feared having to stop using it because of batteries dying faster than I can charge them, but that isn't the case at all. Left it out in the cold, on concrete floor, and it holds the charge like no other. Fantastic product for anyone looking for a powerful, cordless electric impact! -1 star for the size, which is understandable but incredibly annoying when it just won't fit someplace because it's the size of Manhattan. Well maybe not that big, but it has some length to it.

Be careful while using the Charger. It is made according to American Standards of 120 V input but here in Australia we have 230 V supply. I made the same mistake and my charger blew up straight away. , producing smoke everywhere.
