Excellent item. Very quiet. Responsive. Nice size (not too big) but fine for adults or children to use. Great value for money.

Bought to replace my older Logitech M185 mouse which although still working was showing its age after serving me well for years. I therefore had no hesitation opting for another Logitech. The M220 is identical in size, shape and feel as the M185, comfortable in the hand and provides smooth and accurate cursor control. It is slightly quieter when clicking although this was not really a consideration for me. Hopefully it will last as well as the one its replacing. Update: After living with the M220 for a year or so I've gone back to my M185. The M220 is still a great little mouse but for me I find the right click button just too sensitive and easy to inadvertently click on, maybe it's just the way I hold it or the shape of my hand, but I find it quite annoying when it constantly opens a side window while I'm using it.

I originally tried this mouse buying it in the set with the silent keyboard as I was noticing during work-from-home lockdown my then keyboard was extremely noisy typing during meetings! I did some research and found these logi silent items, and while not totally silent, they are super quiet and more than did the job. What I wasn't expecting though was to find my fav ever mouse for usability as well! I'm a left handed so more than use to mice feeling a bit wrong but still useable, after using a computer for 25 years you just get use to it! But this one just feels right, it is actually symmetrical rather than having curves that suits a right-hander more, and a bit smaller than your average mouse so your hand fully encompasses the whole mouse rather than just part of it. I'm not much of a gamer so I've never tried the really fancy £100's pounds mice, but I will be stocking up on these for future use!

One word “silent”.

Since there are several mice listed on this page, this review is about the M220. A wonderful little mouse. Very responsive. Ergonomic. Just works. When I started experiencing lots of problems with my Microsoft 1000 mouse (the scroll wheel sensitivity constantly spotaneously changing its own setting to become too sensitive), I bought several mice to try to find one that works best for me. A number of others e.g. from Tecknet, proved to be totally unergonomic (they were so awkward to hold I found myself slouching because they had to be held at such a weird angle), putting themselves to sleep all the time, being slow to respond. The M220, on the other hand, just works. It is very ergonomic to hold, it doesn't keep going to sleep, it is instantly responsive. The scroll wheel does not slip as it does with some other mice (e.g. sometimes scrolling really fast, then spinning almost totally idle) - this mouse's scroll wheel just works, and always tracks at the same speed. It's hard to say why a simple implement like a mouse is great. This one is great because it's seamless, it just works, it doesn't get in the way and just does its job. You'd think that every mouse would do that, but unfortunately, that's far from the case. Compared to some other mice, the battery life seems only ok (18 months), however, when you consider that this mouse is powered by a single AA battery and some others which claim to achieve 30 months battery life use 2 x AA batteries and keep going to sleep all the time in order to achieve such a longer time, 18 months starts to look really good, and really, does it matter whether you have to replace batteries every 1.5 years or every 3 years?

I wish I'd bought one of these years ago. No more click - CLICK - clicking. A silent mouse should be compulsory.

Ho preso questo mouse perché volevo una soluzione silenziosa e senza fili per l’ufficio e il home-office, e nel complesso sono davvero soddisfatto. I clic sono molto più silenziosi rispetto a un mouse normale (perfetto se lavori in spazi condivisi o mentre guardi video senza rumore di fondo), ma la sensazione al tatto resta naturale e reattiva. La connessione via ricevitore USB 2,4 GHz è stabile e immediata — basta inserire il dongle e parte subito, senza salti o ritardi nel tracciamento. Con 1000 DPI ottici va bene per l’uso quotidiano su scrivania o superficie standard, e non ho avuto problemi né con il browser né con fogli di calcolo o presentazioni. La forma è comoda anche per sessioni di lavoro lunghe e la batteria dura davvero tanto (secondo Logitech fino a 18 mesi), quindi non ti devi preoccupare di ricaricarlo spesso. In breve: è semplice, comodo e quasi silenzioso, ideale se cerchi un mouse wireless affidabile per uso quotidiano senza fronzoli.

Ich war auf der Suche nach einer kompakten, kabellosen Maus für meinen Laptop, die ich problemlos überallhin mitnehmen kann. Die Logitech M220 Silent erfüllt genau diese Anforderungen. Meine Erfahrungen im Einsatz: Silent-Feature: Das war für mich der wichtigste Kaufgrund. Die Klick-Geräusche sind tatsächlich extrem leise, fast unhörbar. Man kann damit wunderbar in Cafés, Bibliotheken oder im Zug arbeiten, ohne die Sitznachbarn durch permanentes Klicken zu nerven. Das Gefühl beim Klicken bleibt trotzdem präzise. Design & Handlichkeit: Die Maus ist schön klein und handlich. Sie verschwindet problemlos in der Laptoptasche, nimmt kaum Platz weg und liegt (trotz der kompakten Maße) gut in der Hand. Zuverlässigkeit: Die Verbindung über 2,4 GHz steht stabil, es gibt keine Aussetzer oder Verzögerungen beim Optical Tracking. Mobilität: Sie verrichtet seit dem ersten Tag zuverlässig ihren Dienst. Die Batterie hält – wie von Logitech gewohnt – gefühlt eine Ewigkeit. Fazit: Eine unaufgeregte, zuverlässige Maus für alle, die viel unterwegs sind und Wert auf ein ruhiges Arbeitsumfeld legen. Wer eine solide "Arbeitsbiene" ohne lautes Klicken sucht, macht hier alles richtig. Ein tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.
