Lodge Yellowstone - 10.25" Skillet

Weighs a tonne, made to cook. Needs care. Should be supplied with the rubber handle grip as standard, that is unforgivable for the price. Best pan I have for cooking steak hands down.

This skillet will last me until my end of days, and my children, and my children’s children. The quality is simply superb ; the heat distribution and retention is remarkable. It needs treated properly, as in cleaned and dried and oiled ( I use avocado oil for its high heat capabilities). The more it’s used the better it ‘cures’ - can be used for all cooking types, including induction and in a hot oven + on a bbq or even an open fire. Cooking anything ; Frying ; Baking = it’s brilliant at baking bannock or bread. My favourite pan..

Package arrived today 3 days early. However packaging was terrible very flimsy box with no internal packing. The handle was sticking out of the box on delivery. That being said now on to the best bit the item itself. The pan thankfully was undamaged as you would expect from a lodge skillet. I am a newbe to cast iron pans and did a lot of research before buying a lodge skillet. What sold me was a YouTube video that went through the manufacturing procees from start to finish. I chose lodge and I am very happy with the quality product I gave bought. This will not be the last one I will buy either.

First time bought a themed Lodge skillet to add to my collection, sent via Amazon US took less than 2 weeks. Arrived safely and well packaged, quality of skillet is excellent and hope to get many years of service out of it

I recently purchased 2 Lodge cast iron skillets from the US to where I am in the UK, the products are good quality. But I was shocked at the packaging, there was no protection at all no bubble wrap, no paper around them, literally nothing at all it arrived as 2 skillets in a cardboard box knocking around everywhere. They did have some damage most probably from the journey, but I am lucky they are still usable.

Usual quality from Lodge - easy to look after if you know how and there are many videos on the tube of you to show you the way.

Really lovely skillet I've bought it for a present. Quite heavy and lovely size.

One of the best items I've ever bought. Total cast iron convert!! It's pre-seasoned and more non-stick than anything I've ever owned, and not as toxic as Teflon! Heat is distributed evenly in the pan. Food doesn't burn as quickly as Teflon or stainless steel. Plus it will last forever. Have been using for many months now and am more than happy. Lodge is the best quality and their series pans are great! Use a chainmail to clean chunks, otherwise only minimal soap and hot water to just clean out the food. Dry immediately. Wait to add oil until the pan it's heated and that's it. Beautiful design on back; we have it hanging on our kitchen wall. Have used on electric stove and charcoal grill.
