Review: Brilliant quality rail and hooks - I bought the towel rail in January together with the pairs of single hooks and toilet roll holder in the range, but wanted to wait a while before posting any reviews. They all look minimalist and classy. I have absolutely no complaints at all and they’re all still in their original in situ positions without even the slightest hint of movement to the point I keep forgetting they’re not screwed in! The combination of the initial sticky back followed by the turn to complete the suction clearly works if done correctly, and has meant I haven’t needed to get someone to take a drill to my expensive tiles, and was able to easily fit them myself. I actually used some Blue-tac over a week or two just to make sure I got them all positioned as I wanted. I have put the towel rail on one of the panels of the glass shower cubicle to hold the rubber back floor (bath) mat. The toilet roll holder and single hooks for hand towel are all secured on glossy tiles. I did also try to stick a leftover single hook on the side of my kitchen cupboards to hang my calendar, but as they have a panel groove, sadly the hooks wouldn’t stay on. So, this told me these fixings really will only work best on smooth, glossy surfaces.
