Canon A4 Matte Photo Paper MP-101 (50 Sheets) - Suitable for Professional-Quality Photographs and Other Creative uses - Compatible with Canon Printers

I have an Epsom CX6600 printer and until now, I had always used Epson inks with Epson paper. This is what you are told to do by the manufactures to get the best possible prints. However, of late, Epson costs have been going up and up - and there are so many other compatible products on the market. I therefore decided to change my inks and paper. This quality and feel of this paper is superb - and it has a nice look about it. I am currently using Epson compatible inks in my printer, and with this paper, I have seen no deterioration at all in the quality of my printing - more so with photos. Good price and so much cheaper than other "quality" paper that in actual fact is the same as this. Unlikely that I will be going back to Epson products unless there is a reduction in price. Highly recommended.

I am very pleasantly surprised by this paper. I'm a professional photographer and I've used most of the professional art papers on the market. I have recently undertaken an extensive personal project. I know how expensive fine quality printing can be, so I was looking for a good quality but affordable option. I've recently done some test prints with this paper and the results really are excellent. Bear in mind it is a very bright white paper so your photographs will have a cooler look to them (Canon's premium matte paper is much warmer). This is quite a lightweight paper which I like, ideal for placing in a print portfolio book if you have a large number of prints to contain - the book won't become too heavy.

This is really good quality paper and prints amazingly. Very crisp photos with amazinnnggg detail. True to colour, I also printed the same with the ICE professional paper and the quality of that was atrocious. Such bad quality compare to canon. If you have a canon printer, spend the money on the paper. Its worth every penny. You also need to have the correct printer setting ect to achieve the best quality! Overall AMAZING!!

Good weight and texture. Nice clear prints. Very pleased.

I print mostly in monochrome which can be a challenge, but have little problem with printing colour in this paper. It takes a range of tones well and toning, giving good detail and a fairly warm effect overall. I have bought several boxes and have not been disappointed. I use different paper for different effects, but this one is a good all-rounder.

I think the general idea is that you should always buy paper that is the same brand as your printer. I think printer manufacturers "optimise" their paper to work best with their own printers. So, once I had bought my Canon inkjet printer I had no choice but to buy this paper. The results were very impressive, and I would highly recommend this paper if you have a canon printer. I also tried my printer with some Kodak Premium Photo Gloss paper which I picked up in a sale in WHSmith. This Canon paper gave far better results.

Good quality paper, my only concern was the state of one of the corners of the packaging, which had the look that it could have been dropped. More care needs to be taken when dispatching this type of product please.

purchased to print artwork on, having previously used the canon gloss photo paper, I wanted something that would produce deep blacks but without the shiny finish - standard paper looks too grey - this paper has a nice matte finish and produces a nice print with dark blacks - a great choice for photos and printing artwork. Will definitely purchase again.

Très bon papier, très mat! Tellement mat que vous pouvez avoir un doute sur le sens d'impression ;-) Mais, si comme moi vous vous trompez la première fois, sachez que la face imprimable est plus blanche/bleu que la face cartonnée au verso qui est elle plus chaude en coloris.

Das Fotopapier hat zunächst nicht die Anmutung eines klassischen Fotopapiers, ist aber sehr schön reinweiß auf der Vorderseite, die man dadurch gut identifizieren kann, beschichtet. Für den Ausdruck meiner Neujahrskarten ist das Papier optimal, da auch die Rückseite bedruckbar ist. Für den Zweck ist auch die Papierstärke sehr gut. Mein Canon Pixma-Drucker verarbeitet das Papier tadellos, da es sich selbst bei farbintensiven Drucken nicht wellt. Ich habe mir nach meinem "Test" gleich noch eine Packung bestellt.

Ottima qualità consumer che fa l'occhiolino alla stampa professionale...se si ha una stampante professionale! Se si usano stampanti Canon, installando i driver della stampante automaticamente ci si ritrova i profili ICC di questa ed altre carte Canon in modo da poter simulare il risultato della stampa (per es. con Ps). Personalmente la uso per stampare le copertine dei DVD, fare calendari ed altri usi simili. Essendo un fotografo, ho provato a fare delle stampe seguendo un workflow ottimizzato per ottenere la massima qualità possibile: sempre che la carta opaca vi piaccia per le foto, si ottengono dei bei risultati, sicuramente superiori alle stampe dei laboratori comuni. Rapporto qualità/prezzo eccezionale, da qui le 5 stelle!

Viendo la cantidad de gente que ha comentado que el papel es como una cartulina, me veo obligada a hacer este comentario: El primer "folio" es un protector, NO es para imprimir. Por eso parece una cartulina. Si os fijáis los demás folios son más finos, de 170g como indica el paquete. Respecto a la calidad todo perfecto. Ojalá hubiera opciones con más gramaje. Yo lo uso para imprimir mis dibujos y los colores salen preciosos. (He de decir que me pasó lo mismo he incluso intenté imprimir con el protector. Os podéis imaginar cómo salió...)

Works great with most printers! I initially got it for my Canon printer exclusively but didn’t print properly. Note- one side is slightly pale and the other is white bright. I would try Epson papers too. Cheers!
