COLOR WOW Root Cover Up

Great product, does what is says on the tin. A little expensive but it works!

This might be more expensive than other brands, but this is the only one I've found which works without really feeling like my roots are caked. It covers grey well - but dab it on using the brush as opposed to brushing on. Good for thinning hair by making it appear thicker at the scalp. Good to use in between root dye appointments. Lasts until the next wash. This is the only one I'll buy now.

Paid nearly £30 for this and it was a total waste of money. I ordered platinum to cover my dark roots and the label on the box said platinum/blonde so not sure if one product counts as two colours as they also had a blonde option. It was a powdery yellow colour and nowhere near platinum. Coverage was useless, a cheap eyeshadow would do the same. Maybe the dark browns are better.

I have used this before, it may seem expensive but, it does a good job, I hold my roots down flat and brush it on, it’s really simple to use. Perfect as a cover up between salon appointments and much easier than using a dye, It also seems to stay on the roots until you shampoo it out. I really wouldn't risk using anything else now, because it gives a natural looking cover and works well for me.

Love this, it means I can leave my hair up to 12 weeks before I need a half head of highlights, which really helps me maintain the condition of my dyed blonde hair and I have been able to grow it alot longer and in better condition.

This product was recommended to me by my hairdresser so I was expecting great things, and she chose the colour I needed. However, to get coverage, I do need to put an awful lot of product on, and it takes me absolutely ages. When my hairdresser next comes round I shall ask her to show me how she uses it in case I am doing anything wrong in which case I will be back and edit this review. I do feel though that this is very expensive for what you get, and the results it has provided so far. I cannot lie, I am a little disappointed.

Absolutely perfect if you have dark blonde hair and your roots are light grey/white. I’ll never be without it now the week before my hair appointment!

je recherchais depuis longtemps un produit facile et rapide à appliquer et surtout qui couvre bien les repousses entre deux colorations : c'est chose faite ! mes cheveux sont colorés en roux et le coloris "red" convient parfaitement pour recouvrir mes racines cheveux blancs tout en s'accordant au reste de la chevelure. Le produit se pose en 2 minutes sur cheveux secs en tapotant un peu de poudre avec le pinceau sur les racines. pas d'effet "carton" comme certains mascaras pour cheveux, ou d' effet gras comme certains sticks. Le rendu est juste légèrement plus mat que le reste des cheveux mais c'est imperceptible. il n'est pas nécessaire d'en mettre beaucoup car vraiment couvrant. De plus, ce qui est appréciable, c'est que ça tient extrêmement bien. je n'ai pas encore testé sous la pluie mais la résistance à une séance sportive intensive est parfaite. inutile également d'en mettre tous les jours, ça tient jusqu'au shampoing suivant. Par contre, attention au moment de la pose car en cas de geste un peu large ou de dosage trop généreux, quelques grains de poudre peuvent voler et tacher les tissus fragiles. mieux vaut mettre une serviette sur les épaules, au cas ou. Le conditionnement compact est très pratique, la poudre n'est pas volatile et le pinceau double est bien adapté à l'usage, selon la zone à couvrir. Le produit est un peu cher mais comme il en faut peu pour une tenue prolongée, le rapport qualité /prix est très satisfaisant.
