I can't believe the impact on my knees of taking the combination of glucosamine and chondritin; and the addition of this chondritin supplement definately makes a difference to the effect of glucosamine alone. A couple of years ago I was struggling to do any sport; and certainly couldn't bend my knees to do anything at floor level. Now I can bend whenever I want and have been able to take up playing tennis again and sailing. I wouldn't say that I am totally pain free, but much, much, better. I understand that, scientifically, there are no guarantees that glucosaming/chondritin will work; osteoartheritis in knees is one of the few conditions where there is good reasearch indicating that some individuals are helped. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. But it is well worth giving it a trial if you are in pain - it's certainly not going to hurt you. I took it for 3 months before I really noticed a difference. Have now been taking it for 3 years and the difference is amazing.

My Chrondroitin supplement arrived promptly in bubble wrap. Check! Just got round to opening the bottle after my other bottle of chondroitin of a different brand was emptied out. So far, we're not experiencing any bad side effects. It's salty and pleasant tasting, like any others i've had. Yes, I empty the contents of the capsules for the right dosage i need and mix it with a little water. It dissolves really well. If taken whole, it contains 750mg of chondroitin (what it says on the bottle). Seriously, so far so good although I was initially a little apprehensive at trying out a new brand.FYI, we take this with Glucosamine to cope with those creaky joints....

I found it very difficult to swallow these tablets completely. OK at point of swallowing beyond the mouth although they are large. They get stuck half way down the oesophagus and it takes ages for them to go down so I no longer feel them. I tried sprinkling capsule contents into liquid but it turns into a thick unpalatable paste.

On all products I ordered which I read worked in partner with each other the Chondroitin, Glucosamine and Hyaluronic Acid I suffered untold side effects. Pains in my stomach and general feeling of being unwell. I looked on the internet at all these products and on all counts the side effects were endless. I stopped taking them and have not suffered since. Remembering I have been taking supplements for 30 yrs so it wasn't because I wasn't used to them. I think it could have something to do with the amount they instructions were telling me to take, which seemed extreme. I presume that was so I got through them quickly to re order. And utter waste of a lot of money.
