Stoplock 'Airbag 4x4' Car Steering Wheel Lock W/Keys HG 134-66 - Anti-Theft Device - Vehicle Crime Deterrent, Yellow/Grey

Got this in a warehouse deal so I was well pleased with the price. Lock is a robust deterrent and it has a little flashing led on it. It’s quick to lock and unlock and well suited to my 1997 Land Rover defender. At very least it will slow the thief down a bit as it quite a substantial bit of kit, looks super strong.

This product is really good. It's got more of a raised bar then the standard version to allow for the steering wheel airbags and this fits my fiesta 2015 Mk7 really well. Was worried some reviewers said it causes indentations and leaves imprints of where it's been but not has this issue with my car and there is a small bit of give for this which is pretty much perfect. Due to the size of the lock (width) it has to be attached to the top part of the steering wheel. Very sturdy and has a good (not too heavy) weight to it.keys perfectly unlock and the clasping mechanism is great. Although it doesn't do anything, the led light on this stoplock version which you activate by pushing a button upwards when you need to is a nice touch and does act as a visual deterrent. The lock fits in the back foot well space okay without moving around when driving. The only thing lacking on these is a motion detection alarm but I guess the price is factored into three product for what it does. I've read these locks aren't difficult to break for a professional thief and most locks are the same but it does present a hassle and deterrent either way I'd like to see them get that off without the car beep going off! The idea is the more layers of security the less attractive it looks as an opportunity to steal. I do feel safer with the lock on the wheel and provides that extra level of security that I wanted given the increased rates of cars being stolen lately. Please note though these steering wheel locks and most other locks are not tamper proof and should never rely on it entirely on its own to protect your car.

I've got a 10 year old RR Evoque, and I want to keep it. It's keyless entry though, and people love stealing Evoques, so I wanted some extra security. I bought this Stoplock and a Faraday box & key pouches. I use the Stoplock daily, and it really gives me peace of mind - I know someone could break it if they really wanted to, but I do think these devices are visible deterrents and put people off trying to steal cars. It's super easy to fit onto the steering wheel, and super quick to unlock and remove. I drop it into the passenger footwell when not in use. Just be careful that it doesn't mark or scratch your steering wheel, as there's no padding by the lock for some reason. I added my own but really it should be something they thought of when designing it., hence 4 stars not 5. If you don't want your car stolen, this really is a no brainer.

Having just had a new Zafira I was looking for a reliable and heavy duty steering wheel lock. I saw similar models of this lock, but they didn't quite inspire confidence in how secure they were. Also there might have been issues with the fit. However I can confirm that this Stoplock is very robust and causes no problems when placing the lock on the steering wheel. The actual key part of the lock seems a little stiff when turning, but I guess that makes it more secure. The locking clasp doesn't grip or mark the steering wheel (Zafira with padding. quite thick) and the bar easily slots through to secure the wheel. The lock also has a flashing LED which can be turned on/off. Whether this will deter a thief I don't know, but it is a good feature. Overall if you are looking for a really good quality steering wheel lock that will give you peace of mind then look no further. I highly recommend this product.

Great quality as always from Stop-lock, but unfortunately does not fit the 72 Plate Yaris Cross due to the Airbag on the steering wheel. Ordered the 'Airbag/4x4 version to allow for this, but when fitted it continuously sounds the horn. We will need to buy an alternative design from another manufacturer.

I am using this with a VW T5 Transporter Van. The lock fits over the steering wheel snugly; not too tight that it marks or cuts the steering wheel and not too loose that it leaves a gap. The Stoplock can be placed in different positions - I've gone for the option of having the lock mechanism at the top of the wheel so that the long arm is pointing downwards as this makes it more difficult for any potential thief to get into the driving seat. As with any security device like this, the only true test would be to see how well it survives a genuine attack but this is something I hope to never experience. The Stoplock works well as a visible deterrent, takes seconds to put on or take off but I'll never know if a potential thief walks past instead of "having a go".

Having to send the first one back having arrived with no key was not ideal but this problem was quickly handled and my replacement was sent out. I’ve had no issues since and it’s nice and easy to use. I can’t really say much more until someone attempts to rob my car and the real test begins.

J'ai mis du temps à choisir ce produit, mais il s'est avéré décevant dans son aspect essentiel de protection contre le vol. Deux étoiles sont attribuées principalement en raison de sa conception esthétique et de sa facilité d'utilisation, mais la fonctionnalité de sécurité laisse à désirer.

L'ho acquistato tre volte e tutte e tre le volte è arrivato senza chiavi quindi era inutilizzabile. L'ho ordinato per la quarta volta nella speranza di poterlo finalmente utilizzare.

La livraison était très bien par contre le carton original du produit était grand ouvert un peu déçu

Diese Wegfahrsperre ist nach Jahren bereits die zweite gleiche Sperre des Herstellers. Nur ausgewechselt da bei der ersten Sperre ein Defekt im Schloss aufgetreten ist nach 10 Jahren. Es wurde mit dieser Sperre ein Diebstahl meines Fahrzeuges verhindert.

Dans la partie basse de mon volant, comme dans photo il y a 2 espaces, mais mon volant est assez petit, juste pour passer la tige. Il n'y aurait pas assez d'espace pour mettre le bloc avec la serrure. Et donc la tige vers le bas assez large et assez longue, ne passe sans toucher la console centrale ou le tableau de bord que quand le volant est bien droit, mais vraiment droit. C'est sûr que si j'avais une Porsche ou une Ferrari, cela ne découragerait personne avec de bons outils. Mais si un opportuniste, voleur en herbe, veut improviser, il choisira une autre voiture dans la rue sans ce bloc volant qui semble de qualité et assez encombrant et gênant. Ce serait impossible de conduire avec, même pour une légère manœuvre ou tourner légèrement les pneus, ce serait impossible.
