I don't see any rubber grip on the handle... Doesn't it make the handle hot while you cook?

Yes it does get hot eventually but if it's a griddle pan by le creuset your after may I suggest Le Creuset Toughened Non-Stick Ribbed Square Grill - 28 cm at a lot cheaper price and it's fantastic and handles stay cool
