Bought for my niece who is obsessed with Pokemon. She still references the book now and she loves it

The book covers every aspect of the Pokemon universe, this includes detail on each trainer, the Pokemon including evolution's (of which there are hundreds!) as well as descriptions of the regions in which they are found. My two sons aged 3 and 8 are constantly using it as a point of reference for the various TV shows and movies. The Pokemon featured in the Pokemon Go app are also present here although no specific section is included they can be found in the various regions. It also works as a perfect tool for parents wanting to keep up to date with the never-ending conversations about Pokemon! The book is also hard covered and quite study so should last many years of use. Currently at a bargain price too. I could not recommend to book more.

Bought this for my 4 year old as he loves Pokémon. Is great for getting extra info & just being able to read about various Pokémon, trainers, Professors & regions. The only downside is that this is obviously an older version as it doesn’t include any info on the Alola region or its Pokémon. Which is a shame as we were watching the Sun & Moon series at the time I purchased this. That’s probably my fault though for maybe not reading all the details. We still love the book, (especially the double page all about Eevee & the evolutions, Eevee is one of our favourites) I just need to find a more up to date one for the other regions.

This was great value as my daughter had seen it on special in the shops for more. this was also prime so next day which meant she wasn't tempted to buy it for more so she didn't need to wait (of course who can afford to wait when there's thousands of pokemon facts to discover!) It's a good sized hard back book which means it will have more chance of surviving the bashing about it's getting being carted about in bags by my daughter! Well laid out and easy to get immersed in. She's been 'studying' it since it came though the letterbox. It's going to keep her entertained for ages as there is so much to read in this - it's very thick!

Fabulous. Missing sword and shield. Which I expected. But such a big detailed book for the price. Only gripe is that it shows you how to phonetically pronounce legendary Pokémon but not normal. Would be nice if it did that for all

My 7 year old son LOVES this book It lives next to his bed and he dips in and out of it most days. Because it’s layed out as a Pokemon or 2 per page it’s easy to learn about a couple in 5 minutes. He loves reading about the different Pokemon’s abilities etc. He also ticks off the Pokemon in the book when he gets the Pokemon card - so it works an an inventory for him too.

My 9 year old thinks that this is brilliant and the type of book that means he hogs the loo for half an hour whilst reading it. He does believe that it is not quite as exhaustive as claimed, but I'm not sure whether different Pokemon vehicles - TV, cards, games etc. are all 100% the same? Anyway, for a very comprehensive, official product, this is a very good buy for any Pokemon mad kid.

I bought this as a gift for my nephew who is 5 and loves Pokemon but once I looked through it I realised it would suit my 9 year old daughter better. She has just gotten into Pokemon and she loves to read so I know this will be a great book for her. It goes into great detail.

Imprescindible si eres fan de los pokemon, solo tiene 1 problema y no es ni problema ... es que el idioma esta en inglés pero en parte me parece genial porque asi el peque lee en inglés y adquiere mayor conocimiento y si es aprender jugando mejor que mejor. , las hojas tienen muy buena calidad y es una gran enciclopedia
