This silicone lubricant spray has been very useful for reducing friction and improving movement on doors, windows, rails, and other household fittings. The spray applies evenly and dries fairly quickly without leaving behind a heavy greasy residue. It worked particularly well on squeaky hinges and sliding tracks, helping components move more smoothly almost immediately after application. The nozzle also provides good control during use, making it easier to target smaller areas without excessive overspray. Another advantage is that the formula leaves surfaces feeling cleaner and less oily compared to some thicker lubricants. The large 400ml can should also last quite a while for regular maintenance tasks around the home or garage. One of my PVC doors was sticking, verging on impossible to seal or lock. Silicone lubricant was recommended and this was a good price and well-reviewed. It was easy to use, spraying in every hole I could find on my door - and within minutes the door was working like new. That was around a month ago, and I've had to reapply it again since, but since the alternative was getting an overpaid workman out, or replacing the door, I think I made the right choice!

Does what it says perfectly well. Nothing wrong with the product which seems to be similar to WD40.

This silicone lubricant is specified as suitable for use on plastics and rubbers, along with metal parts. Not all lubricants are suitable for use with plastic and rubber, using the wrong stuff can damage / melt and discolour plastic. My up and over garage door rollers were making a horrific squeak, it took a few applications to the rails and plastic wheels, but it’s now practically silent. It’s also specified suitable for use on UPVC doors and windows, which it’s really effective at.

Purchased to oil our uPVC window hinges, sliding patio door rail and locks. Most , that are used frequently were stiff to open and noisy. But after spraying them and manually cycling to work the oil in they glided open & shut easily. We wer able to oil 3x 3-pane , 2x 2-pane , 1x 1-pane and sliding patio door rail with one can, while being generous with application. The straw provided was useful to focus the spray where we wanted it. Although, we just bought a second can to finish the job , and the straw was missing , luckily we kept the previous one.

This is a brilliant lubricant. Worked immediately on our door locks . Recommend by our local double glazer.
