Excellent product, prompt delivery.
My lovely boy is almost 13 now and started suffering really badly with arthritis last winter and could hardly walk, shaking and trembling legs leaving him struggling to even go for toilet visits. After medication from the vet which upset his tummy a lot and made him quite poorly, I started looking for a natural supplement instead. After trying two other products which didn't seem to help him much, I came across MaxxiFlex Plus. This contains a variety of quality ingredients that research suggested would be beneficial for an older dog like mine. Wanting an effective treatment that left my dog pain-free and able to walk more easily, I decided to try MaxxiFlex and bought it in May. You are recommended to give a double dose initially, but that upset my lads tummy (although he has always had a sensitive stomach). I reduced the dose to the normal recommended (2 tablets a day for him). Unlike lots of dogs seem, he doesn't like the taste, so I break them in half and squash a bit of sandwich spread around them. He gobbles them straight down now! My dog has gone from being in agony and unable to get up without help when he's been lying down, to getting to his feet on his own and walking without wobbling and also seems to have no pain. While he will never be racing around like he used to, for an arthritic dog he does get around just fine without needing help to stand. He is now going for 3 short walks a day, slowly I admit, but he seems to enjoy them and its helping him to keep more mobile. The rest of the day he wanders round the garden as he likes and it has restored quality of life for him. If you have a problem with your own dog, I highly recommend you give this product a try for a couple of months. It has been so beneficial for my lad, worth every penny spent.

These work.
I started my girl on these after numerous failed attempts and disappointment with other 'leading brands.' I re-homed my girl last year and although she had not come from an abusive home, she had not been walked for about a year when she came to us and had a very strange gait, obvious muscle weakness and after a trip to the vet, a diagnosis of early arthritis in back legs and maybe one front. It was dreadful watching her struggle to get up from her bed, limp around the garden and hesitant about longer walks - she was 7. I started Maxxi Flex about 3 months ago and yes, it did take at least a month for her mobility to hugely improve, earlier signs though, had been promising. She is on her 4th pack now and I can honestly say, she is like a different dog. She has the sweetest nature, but now, she has turned into a playful 'up for it' type of girl and in the last couple of weeks has actually started the very alert, 'I'm-going-to-get-you' bounce - all four paws off the ground whilst in hot pursuit of a squirrel...It is thrilling to see her free of pain and enjoying her life to the full now; flying over ditches, having mad moments with her new friends and loving games of chase. She is a big girl, 32k - full of muscle now, though - and I started her on 6 of these tablets a day - I just pop them on her food. She loves them. I kept her to the 6 tabs a day for a month and gradually reduced, to her 3 a day now. I do not use any other supplements, but do give her sardines a couple of times a week along with a natural grain free wet food. I really cannot say how wonderful it is to see her so active and happy, and enthusiastic about life - although she has started to want longer walks now, which isn't always a great thing in the rain and dark!

Great ingredients, and customer service provide helpful advice on dosage.
I use Maxxi Cardio and Maxxi Same for my dogs and both products are superb, and have had a profound benefit to their health . Off the back of this , I ordered Maxxi Flex for the dog that has arthritis. He loved the taste, but within a week I noticed each time he had had the tablet, he looked very bloated and was licking his tummy. I followed instructions to reduce the dose, but it still seemed to trigger bloating. So last week, I witheld the tablet all week , and no bloating whatsoever. Yesterday I tried a tablet again and within a few minutes , he was laying out with his bloated tummy and licking his tummy . I can't say which ingredient triggers this, but my instinct tells me it may be the liver in the product because he doesn't do well on any offal . A great shame as I have about 95 tablets left, and I do believe they were improving his mobility and joints . I must stress , the other products I use from Maxxi Paws are fantastic. EDIT; Maxxi paws contacted me via email to offer advice and assistance on the dose for Louie. Very helpful, with detailed knowledge and a potential plan to start him again at a much lower dose, as he can be sensitive to offal. And to very gradually, increase the dose and see how he goes. I intend to try this , and will post an update here, or a further review if that seems the better option. But how to fault such good customer service? Dachshund will be pleased to try them again, since he loves the taste , and I am pleased to give it another try, because of the great ingredients in this tablet . Maxxi paws also refunded my payment for this item in case it doesnt work out. This was unprompted, and I was astonished by this since I have had the product for 5 weeks now . An indication of the approach this company takes to customer service.

A different leash of life.
I was actually looking for another similar made by a US company before I committed to this product (mainly as it was out of stock on Amazon / unavailable in the UK and I refused to pay £30 postage for a £30 product directly to the manufacturer). And like (I assume) everyone else I was a little apprehensive about the claims and feedback for this product, but I am quietly surprised by the results. My 8 year old female boxer (think Clearscore) was very slow and lethargic who would plod around with my other dogs but not really engage and has issues with allergic reactions on her coat and has to take a small amount of steroids to control it. On her last big flare up the Vet also confirmed some osteoarthritis and the prognosis was not good. The steroids had bitten too. The vet has never recommend any attempt to find what the allergic reactions related too because we could still be searching the raft of products (or combination of them) and the chance of finding the cause is so small. So with this new diagnosis she was prescribe pain relief, The only signs of any pain shown was that she would lift one of her back paws after a walk or moving after a heavy bout of sofa snoring (which I might add she is very good at.) which would stay with her all day. So I wanted something that was herbal, natural and safe bearing in mind the conditions she has. And this product worked and I don’t just mean worked. I have never seen such a transformation. I can confirm that yes although she has her slow moments (sniffing the grass, drinking from puddles, drinking from more puddles and sniffing the grass again) she now takes an active part in play with a 9 month puppy hound, chasing the ball and play fighting. In fact sometimes I have to calm her down as she wants to go on for longer. In fact I try and make sure she doesn’t over exert herself, she has a different leash of life. The paw lifting has reduced dramatically and although she does lift her paw after a sofa snore its now more like the stiffness you or I get after sitting for a long time and is gone within a minute or two. Do I recommend this product, you bet! In fact I’ve also recently started giving it to my 8 year old Jack Russell who was just showing signs of having difficulty keeping up with the same puppy hound and I am now about to order my second bottle. In fact so far everything is great, Ok the tablets are big but crushed in your fingers (or spoon) in their favourite food and its gone, no hesitation. I can only say that this product has worked for mine, like everything there’s no guarantee it will work for yours, but I would recommend you try.

Great boost for dogs
Well I can’t say how they taste, because my dog can’t tell me, but what I do know is she can’t wait to have one first thing in the morning, and since being on them she’s been more agile, and she’s not had joint pain when playing with her doggie friends, she likes the taste, easy to eat, and great value, I’d recommend them to anyone who has a dog.

A game-changer for our senior Labrador!
We started giving maxxiflex+ to our 12-year-old Labrador, who had been slowing down and showing signs of stiff, achy joints. After a few weeks, we noticed a real difference—he’s moving more easily, getting up without hesitation, and even enjoying longer walks again! It’s wonderful to see him more comfortable and active. We love that it’s made with natural ingredients and that he happily takes the liver-flavored tablets like a treat. Highly recommend for any dog who needs joint support, especially seniors!

Dog doesn't like them
I'm torn here as to what * review to give these supplements as, after nearly a month, I think I've thrown more away than she's taken. I've gone "neutral" and given it a 3. I've tried hiding them in all kinds of food and she'll just lick them clean and leave them. And, as they're larger than a 5p piece and very thick I can hardly stick them down her throat. I'm about to try another brand as I'm trying to help her stiffness with natural supplements and Hills J-D dry food (which she's also not keen on but will eat if I give her it 3 times a day with a partial sachet of wet food - basically she's just hungry and gets desperate). I've tried various NSAIDs and most of them make her sick after a few days - plus I'm worried about the side effects with them. Part of the problem is possibly that she doesn't like anything remotely fishy - seems to give her indigestion and has her out for ages eating grass. She's still keen to go to her "upstairs bed" at night though, so her mobility isn't critical yet. And a tip for anyone with a stiff limbed dog, going up and down stairs - I bought a blow up bed from Amazon and put it at the bottom of the stairs each night. Few weeks ago she took the stairs too quickly and fell from top to bottom. Her little heart was pounding - but she just gently bounced, got up, shook herself and was fine - best thing I ever bought. Vet said keep letting her go up as long as she wants to as it's all exercise and she's not keen on going far outside. Nothing to do with this product, I know, but I just thought I'd share, while I'm talking about her mobility.

works wonders on our dog. 100% happy little yorki now.
our dog suffers from arthritis in the bag leg hip joints, she has been suffering and trying to walk on three legs. after many visits to the vet and a small fortune spent we, decided to try the natural rout. first we started with one turmeric and ginger casual broken up in her food every day. this we found improved her mobility 50% with the odd limp and hope maybe once a week but managing to walk just. then we bought this product. wow, what a brilliant product, we kept her on her normal capsule but added one of the maxi dog joint supplements a day, within two days she is back running around, chasing our other dog. barking and playing like a puppy again and being totally mad. it has been several weeks now and still no signs of the old problem or pain, she is now a very happy little yorki again. all i can say is, yes its a bit expensive for a supplement But i cauld not be more satisfied with the change in our little dog. so its a 100% yes from us, and we will defiantly be using this product from now . a big thank you to maxi dog for a great product.

One out of my two dogs like them.
My dog says these taste good. My other dog hates them. What can i do? I give them to the one who likes them. She's older anyway. needs them more than the youngster. Of course, the older dog will eat just about anything, but time will tell if these help her arthritis. The younger dog doesn't have any arthritis that we can tell. but it'd be nice if she'd take these to prevent her from getting severe arthritis. As an arthritis sufferer myself, i know the importance of taking a Gluco/condroitin supplement daily. They do help me. I don't care for liver flavor, though. Perhaps if they make these as a Filet Mignon flavor... The vet sells us supplements at about twice to three times the cost as these. I love my dog but can't afford that. These say they are vet approved. They have supplements for inflammation as well as for joint health, made in the USA of food-grade ingredients. That seems as good or better than the supplements i take.
