Rust-Oleum 400ml Crystal Clear Aerosol - Gloss

Excellent product. The only one I use for my Acrylic pour paintings and craft work. Doesn't appear to yellow and produces a good shine. Easy to apply in many fine layers ensuring a professional finish.

Excellent product : Did the Job!

Bought this to finish a plastic mirror cover that I painted blue. I got the glossy finish I wanted but had to use 3/4 of the spray. If you want a nice shiny glossy result you have to go thick with multiple layers. 10/15cm from the object and quick (but not too quick) passes to apply an even amoumt of vernish all around. It appears mat white whilst drying but gets transparent and glossy when drying. I used a hairdryer to fasten the process but the varnish is still soft when completely clear so leave it to dry for a little while before you put your fingerprints everywhere!

This clear gloss spray did exactly what I needed it to. I used it to coat some costume jewellery and it worked really well. The finish was nice and even and it gave a solid protective layer without changing the look of the items. One tip I’d share is to avoid spraying on plastic surfaces if you’re doing jewellery. I found that using cardboard as a base worked much better. The only thing to keep in mind is the smell. It’s really strong so I’d definitely recommend doing it outdoors or making sure the windows are open if you’re working inside. The scent does linger for a while. Overall a great product and I’ll definitely use it again for similar DIY projects.

Got that to spray and protect my garden furniture from rust. Does the job well, recommend to reapply once in a while if it's the rainy season

This stuff works well for my galaxy spray paintings, but unfortunately the price has gone up more than its worth, so have found alternative product.

I use these in my work at a holiday park, coating pottery that has been decorated with craft pens. They have served me well in this capacity for years and really bring such crafts to life. Easy to apply, gives a nice shine and brings out colors. I spray it outside and in the sun and average wind it dries in about 5 minutes, meaning kids can get their items sprayed and take them a short time later. Use with a little distance and keep the hand moving back and forth while spraying to give a nice even coat.
